The CARES Act has a special pandemic unemployment that covers gig workers, part timers, long term unemployed, etc. It will pay unemployment for that state plus $600 per week, or about $900/week depending upon the state.
States are still setting up the process, but the federal program requires people first sign up for unemployment and then, after denial, you will get sent over to the pandemic unemployment automatically. It might not work smoothly in practice in some states, but it is huge give away.
