LOL. One in three voters of the AfD (German far right populists with a voter share of currently ten percent) trusts Donald Trump. Among the rest of the German population (the other ninety percent) he enjoys a whooping confidence of 5%. That also means that even among the German far right his opponents outnumber his supporters by two to one.

The situation seems similar in other liberal democracies. From what I could gather the two nations in the world that stand by Trump (sort of) are Russia and Israel.... and Israel is a very divided country not unlike the US.

In many parts of Europe it is getting alarming again. Towards both media and worldometer.


France and Spain again seem to have another record day. Russia after months is once again growing in the number of case. Benelux are seeing some of the worst number in months. Romania is probably getting overwhelmed with their current numbers. Most of Central Europe generally has quite high numbers. UK has the worst numbers since the spring. Ukraine also another record day. In Belarus there is chaos and probably no one is testing for real. Greece has the second worst day on the record.

What I would hypothetically hope would happen if it WERE true:
- Someone hacks into China database based on this and finds the actual thing the virus is made of
- Based on this makeup perhaps there IS A cure for this virus and it can be quickly found
- The world realizes how horrible the Chinese government really is and stop supporting them, and supports Hong Kong's independence and etc.

what will probably happen:
Even if she shows proof, no one will care, continue to call her a hoax, and go on knowing nothing.

Nice to see my thoughts on Dr. Jeffrey VanWingen over blowing food related concerns validated. Not that it's going to matter to non-maskers but the explanation on droplets and the emphasis that you need to keep them from coming out of your nose and mouth in the first place as much as possible is helpful

Not sure how all people don't make the connection with wearing masks all the time and completely reopening the states but I guess they'd rather scream and run up and down the isles at Target or something.

From what I could gather both she and her claims are to be taken with a humongous lump of salt.

She has strong links to Steve Bannon and Guo Wengui (rightwing exile Chinese billionaire activist and friend of both Bannon and Trump). Also, her claims so far are unproven and go against the current scientific consensus. Sounds like engineered skandal/outrage to me.

For those of you that are professionally into medicine: Is there any genuine scientific study about how much a received amount of virus effects the development of disease ? I mean it probably isn't the same if you breath in one micro drop and if someone just sneezes into your face.

I don't think it will be quick, but at this point, there's no real vaccinating a cold. So I don't think, at this point, if it is truly a cold as stated, that there will EVER be a vaccine. It is more about managing the hospital numbers till we reach a level of immunity where everyone has it once, so the body recognizes it.

It's not like the gene sequence of SARS-COV-2 is super secret either. There is no secret Chinese data to hack. That and the obvious links between the so far unproven (and according to most experts unfounded) claim and the American far right in the middle of an election campaign aside - if the Chinese wanted to develop a bioweapon, which they very well might, why on earth would they choose something relatively benign (compared to some of the stuff already available in many BSL4 Labs)?! You could easily engineer something more infectious or lethal.
