I mean when Trump would lose the nomination towards explained model people would and should go where they want. However now when you have national emergency the people should fully activate. However as explained they should come closest to Trump as possible. Since just about everyone is moving away a thus he has large ground where he is moving unchecked. After a few election cycles he has developed pretty strong hold over the party and any opposition to him within the party is evaporating. Various figures are either leaving, or they are deciding to play along since the party is what it is at this point. Therefore once he fully takes over it is questionable if the Dems will be able to stop him. That is why people should mass switch to the Republican party while there is still some resistance in it. It doesn't matter what you really believe, here it only matters that he doesn't get the nomination. What all those mentioned independents and none voters can do just like that, that is something like 70% of adults in the country. The people just have to fight him in his own castle, since that would truly end the ideology. In way this would be one big counter Jan 6th. Since he would have his party positions presured by a "mob" of tens of millions of people.
If you study the history of the world and 20th century in particular it is evident that things in the end don't work out with people like Trump. Before Jan 6th you can argue that he has certain qualities and that establishment is horrible. But after that moment some lines have to be made. In the case that he called off the mob or at least genuinely apologize I wouldn't say anything, but he doesn't seem to have any regrets regarding what happened. What is a red flag when you think about it. Because if he can do a coup there he can do it everywhere in you life. Therefore people shouldn't be static and they should fight this where it matters. And that is basically the Republican party, since this has to be contained within the party. Because once you get to the general you are already on the ropes for obvious reasons.
