I don't trust any sources, I use my brain and eyes to analyze and interpret intentions of all involved while determine the most likely scenario while keeping an open mind. I would never limit myself to such black and white thinking, especially when it comes to the thinking. A "source" is just "information", that doesn't make it the truth just because its published.
I am also not likely to trust the US government, who is notorious for war crimes, and crimes against it's own people. What I don't get about Liberals and democrats, is your inability to perceive any ill intention from "Official sources". Isn't "The rich elite" or "corrupted evil capitalists" the bad guys to you? It seems to me that you guys simultaneously believe in rampant corruption, but then have zero idea what it looks like in reality. So when someone tries to point it out, you scream "conspiracy". Isn't the point of a conspiracy to point out something is amiss or potentially being covered up? Which has happened in the past. So much from learning from history eh? It has happened many many times, especially in the USA. What scary to me is that simple word, is enough to also shut out real dissent and truth sayers and whistle blowers, making actual bad things happening being dismissed or not believed. Imagine learning an ultimate evil truth about a corporation or the government, with evidence to back it up and take down a ton of bad players. You try to give it to the media, and the media just laughs at you. Then no one takes it seriously to break the story despite it being 100% true. Society in this case, is being a useful idiot to the government, doing their dirty work for them by shaming and chastising their dissenters due to a psychological trick that makes you incapable of believing anything that isn't the popular state sanctioned opinion. The same thing has happened in science as well. So it isn't like it doesn't exist.
What do you believe more? A corporate approved and state issue mandated opinion released officially to the public en mass? OR your critical thinking skills? How do you oppose something reasonably, when governments controlled by a corporate lobbyist industrial war complex actively shut down dissent using psychological tactics against its own people and lie publicly like it is the truth? These corporations and rich people literally own everything, and like in any business. The top dog can do no wrong, even if the employee proves his boss is corrupt as fuck. He is fired, his boss is not. This, on top of the fact that there is 2 systems of justice. One for poor people, one for rich people. This is because the government literally cannot control them, so they have to relinquish power and ignore them for the lesser of two evils. What do you think the mafia is? Mega corporations are the same, but worse. They can act globally. What happens with all the rich people have a particular political view? They only allow for that view to be public, and destroy dissent. Regardless of whether their view is good or not as a whole, or how much it harms normal people. Because all they care about is themselves, and they are using the public to "Get richer", and they get away with this by turning us against ourselves, and by distracting us with social conflict. Because if we turned on anything else, it would be an issue for them. That's why no matter how many people claim to be "socialists" in office, they never actually go that far with it. You will never get your free college, and any health care they pass will actually just benefit them more, and you get less quality care. They don't actually want to do away with capitalism, and won't do away with it until they suck USA dry and let it collapse, and then just move to another country like China.
