FBI investigating whether woman stole laptop from Pelosis office to sell it to Russia - POLITICO

I have no doubt this chud stole a laptop from Nancy Pelosi's office. I just think the selling it to the Russians bit is a little too predictable to be accurate.

But this goes to the bigger issue I mentioned earlier of Trump and his family and administration monetizing the national security information they have. They absolutely will.

Maybe she watched The Falcon and the Snowman too many times.

I think they absolutely will and this is kind of what the "best democracy money can buy" logic leads to, whoever can pay the highest calls the shots, I'm sure the founders would be horrified.

All the violent KKK fetishism of these guys is just making me think they're legitimate targets.

They got no idea what they want other than trouble, its like the prison rioters who can think of nothing other than seizing the dispensary for as long as they can.

Generally speaking, I can't stand MSNBC. They bear as much responsibility for the rise of Trump and have literally rolled in the "resistance" $$, no different than Fox News and OANN on the other side. But Ali Velshi was at the BLM protests early on and understands the BLM protests and the riots at the capital are night and day. He also nails the key issue here -

But more than that, there's a clear distinction that even well-intentioned people make, possibly inadvertently: that Black people with grievance are one step away from becoming violent, while white people with grievance are justifiably upset, fighting to defend their rights.

This is what needs to be the focus and quit that goddamn both side bullshit. It is a media fallacy that the general population had adopted and it's just as wrong. Stop now.

Weird post of "It's a Small World After All" -- this woman is like 22 or something, and when I saw what school she went to, I asked my kids if they knew her because that's where they went. My eldest did not, but my two younger ones knew her name and also know the writer of one of the tweets with a yearbook picture of her currently going around (the one that I shared with them). just... ugh.

news today too that Rachel Levine (PA sec of health, her name became prominent dealing with COVID) has been earmarked as assistant sec for HHS. I know her too, she and I went through trans support groups/meetings at the same time and place, shared some meals with her. She also signed off on my passport gender papers and helped my enby kid with gender-related stuff as well as eating issues related to having cystic fibrosis. She's warm, smart, empathetic, and one of the kindest people I've ever met especially in light of all the attacks she's suffered with the COVID publicity. It's nice to see that character and professionalism might be valued again among appointments, rather than crass loyalty.

I was really happy to hear of her appointment too.

I think this is born of fear, its like the domestic violence victim how says they may have provoked their partner into assaulting them after all.

I'm willing to bet all the individuals who've been pictured invading the capitol are by no means first or single offenders, I'm sure that they've got a long history and have been responsible for other actions over the years.

Well, Biden has "took the power" and assumed the US presidency, so I guess that this chapter of the US history is over, and I also believe that the risk for a civil war has been very lowered.
