I took 2 different tests and one said my dominant is Ne and the other said Si. Both said Fi as my 2nd and Ni as my 3rd. one said my inferior Si and the other said Ti. I think I use all of these at times(except Ti, I think I use that one rarely) What type am I really?
1.) Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances? Other useful information includes sex, age, and current state of mind.
I'm an 18 y/o girl. As for stress, I'm about to graduate high school so that's stressful. Otherwise, I have ADHD and am taking meds for it.
2.) What kind of person are you and why?
This feels like a really broad question because I feel like people are pretty complex. In general though, I would say I'm a relatively accepting person. I want to love people even if I don't agree with them. I try to be there for people that I care about, but I don't think I'm very good at it. I'm bad at reading people and am super socially awkward. Other than that, I'm creative and artistic.
3.) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else?
My creative mind, I think. Everyone always compliments how creative I am, but to me, I just have lots of cool ideas floating around in my brain. I never realize how out of the box they are until I tell someone and they tell me how weird, crazy, random, or cool it is.
4.) Do you think there are any differences between how you described yourself and how people actually perceive you? How do you think others would describe you? If there are any discrepancies between these two that you are aware of; do you know why exactly that is?
People usually think I'm quiet and weird. I make it pretty known that I don't care what others think about me, and people have said they pick up on it. I don't like putting up with some people, so I end up being a little rude to them, even when I didn't mean to be. I also pretend I don't care about a lot of things. I actually don't care about some things, but I do have a lot of anxiety.
5.) Describe your relationship to order and chaos. What do order and chaos mean to you? How do they manifest in your daily life?
I hate complete order, but I also hate complete chaos. I'm happy when there is a good balance between them. Right now, I feel stressed about getting things set for college, so I'm trying to have a little more order in my life than normal.
6.) Do you see ideas as revolving around core concepts or as gateways to new ideas?
Either, depending on the situation. My ideas usually center around abstract concepts that I find fascinating or that I identify with. I love expanding these ideas as much as I can, so that they lead to new ideas.
7.) Do you find yourself to be obsessive about topics? Do you continually divine value from something you already understand or do you move on once you feel you have a fair enough understanding?
I'm obsessive about everything that doesn't matter. I want to understand every little thing about things that aren't important, but other things, I just want to understand it enough to not be in the dark.
8.) What type do you think you are? Why this/these type(s)? Is there a type that appeals to you, to your self-perception, that you would like to be? Why?
I think I'm INFP or INFJ. I tested as an INTJ as a kid, but I was also under a lot of stress back then.
Auxiliary Questions if you are between 2 types
E vs I
Would you say you are an outgoing person?
When I get to know and trust a person(which is rare) I'll be more outgoing, but I think I get pretty annoying, so I try to avoid talking much.
Te vs Ti
Would you say you see things as correct or incorrect? Or would you say you see things more as gray areas that cannot necessarily be determined as black or white?
I see things as black and white a lot, but I try to remember to have compassion when I think it applies.
