I took 2 different tests and one said my dominant is Ne and the other said Si. Both said Fi as my 2nd and Ni as my 3rd. one said my inferior Si and the other said Ti. I think I use all of these at times(except Ti, I think I use that one rarely) What type am I really?

1.) Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances? Other useful information includes sex, age, and current state of mind.
I'm an 18 y/o girl. As for stress, I'm about to graduate high school so that's stressful. Otherwise, I have ADHD and am taking meds for it.

2.) What kind of person are you and why?
This feels like a really broad question because I feel like people are pretty complex. In general though, I would say I'm a relatively accepting person. I want to love people even if I don't agree with them. I try to be there for people that I care about, but I don't think I'm very good at it. I'm bad at reading people and am super socially awkward. Other than that, I'm creative and artistic.

3.) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else?
My creative mind, I think. Everyone always compliments how creative I am, but to me, I just have lots of cool ideas floating around in my brain. I never realize how out of the box they are until I tell someone and they tell me how weird, crazy, random, or cool it is.

4.) Do you think there are any differences between how you described yourself and how people actually perceive you? How do you think others would describe you? If there are any discrepancies between these two that you are aware of; do you know why exactly that is?
People usually think I'm quiet and weird. I make it pretty known that I don't care what others think about me, and people have said they pick up on it. I don't like putting up with some people, so I end up being a little rude to them, even when I didn't mean to be. I also pretend I don't care about a lot of things. I actually don't care about some things, but I do have a lot of anxiety.

5.) Describe your relationship to order and chaos. What do order and chaos mean to you? How do they manifest in your daily life?
I hate complete order, but I also hate complete chaos. I'm happy when there is a good balance between them. Right now, I feel stressed about getting things set for college, so I'm trying to have a little more order in my life than normal.

6.) Do you see ideas as revolving around core concepts or as gateways to new ideas?
Either, depending on the situation. My ideas usually center around abstract concepts that I find fascinating or that I identify with. I love expanding these ideas as much as I can, so that they lead to new ideas.

7.) Do you find yourself to be obsessive about topics? Do you continually divine value from something you already understand or do you move on once you feel you have a fair enough understanding?
I'm obsessive about everything that doesn't matter. I want to understand every little thing about things that aren't important, but other things, I just want to understand it enough to not be in the dark.

8.) What type do you think you are? Why this/these type(s)? Is there a type that appeals to you, to your self-perception, that you would like to be? Why?
I think I'm INFP or INFJ. I tested as an INTJ as a kid, but I was also under a lot of stress back then.

Auxiliary Questions if you are between 2 types

E vs I
Would you say you are an outgoing person?

When I get to know and trust a person(which is rare) I'll be more outgoing, but I think I get pretty annoying, so I try to avoid talking much.

Te vs Ti
Would you say you see things as correct or incorrect? Or would you say you see things more as gray areas that cannot necessarily be determined as black or white?

I see things as black and white a lot, but I try to remember to have compassion when I think it applies.

Probably either ISFP or INFP. You seem like a 9, but I think everyone is a 9 so take that with a grain of salt. But the “wanting to help others but not being very good at it” is very 9- positive outlook but very self effacing. I think Fi dom 9 makes the most sense for you- coming off as socially awkward and unfriendly makes me think you are likely not Fe aux and 9- because youd likely be smoother (though not a guarantee if aux is underdeveloped/warped by mental health concerns). But from this, Id say either INFP or ISFP 9. And thank you for not being overly… obvious, with trying to like convince us of a particular type. No joke, not being sarcastic but usually these read waaaay more obvious of “tell me Im an intuitive”. Not that theres anything wrong with that, its a natural reaction to discovering typology, its just refresehing to see one of these that isnt like… blatantly obviously that.

Anyways. Sorry lol. IXFP 9. Probably w1 with the reflexive seeming self criticism. So/sx? You seem socially focused- so so dom I think is likely. Tho the sx is a straight guess.

Oh also. Theres 6 in there too. Tritype 96 something. I wanna say 4 but honestly I dont like typing people as 4s- admittedly because then they become hyperfocused on it at the expense of becoming their actual self and not a type. But Id guess 964 from this also in all honesty.

Since I was thinking INFP and you think that might be an option, that's probably it.

your welcome? lol I just want an honest assessment
reflexive seeming self criticism
yes my self criticism is very reflexive lol

I've always thought I was Sp dom, so I'm gonna look at that more

I see why you're detecting 9 because my tritype is 459(tho that 5 might be iffy), I'll look more into 6 though because I don't know.

Yeah the “tell me im an intuitive” thing isnt like- a hard judgement on the people who do that. Mbti is so slanted towards the intuitives (glorifying them) that any person who discovers it is going to self select as an intuitive like 95% of the time. Especially those who are vulnerable/at a period in their life when they are forming their identity.

Its just nice to see one thats relatively impartial. Even if theres nothing super wrong with the natural urge to identify with something that explains your feeling of being “othered”. And yeah. I think you are a 9 mistyping as a 4, which is common, but typology is a journey of self discovery so Im not gunna force that any more than I already have.

Best of luck to you. And welcome to the forum

I'll look into more articles on enneagram because I based my starting point on a test which now I know how unreliable tests can be, but yeah I appreciate your help!

Well, I think you're on the Si/Ne spectrum for sure, but I can't tell for certain which function it is that I'm seeing. I also can see more self-reporting, so you're either Ti/Fi, but, I don't have enough evidence to pin down your Decider function.

Idk if you mind replying another questionnaire, but here's one that you could try so that we can get more info about you:

Or if you don't mind taking personality test, you could try the Personality Ninja test. They'll tell you if you're either one of the 32 types.
