I lived in Chicago during the height of the BLM protests. It was fine. I'm not sure what your on about with regards to it being dangerous. But go and tell me I'm delusional in my own experience of what I lived with.
Okay, so you think burning down businesses and looting stores is acceptable as a form of "protest" all while the media said it was "peaceful" despite there being multiple fires, murders, and assaults? Or how about the joke that was CHOP/CHAZ in Seattle? How are these better than the January protests? Do you honestly believe the media would show what was actually happening in the BLM protests? Did you watch any of the livestreams?
Trump is a grifter and conman. Of course some of the things he is criticized for, like going after whistleblowers , were things Obama did too and things that Obama got a free pass on. . Just because Obama got a free pass on those things does not make it good when Trump did them.
That is your opinion, based solely on his mannerisms and the medias portrayed caricature of him. The bar for how disgusting and horrible rich people can be is pretty high. Trump is one of the ethically better ones in reality. The entire political world is filled with horrible monsters, way way worse than Trump and they get the free pass purely because you do not know about it.
Nor does the fact that Biden's handling of the pandemic has been pretty bad and he's gotten a pass on that excuse the fact that Trump's handling of it was shitty.
He gets some credit from me for pushing back against John Bolton's push to go to war with Iran, and I also don't consider protectionism to be something inherently misguided, although I can't say how effective his specific attempts have been.
I am fairly certain the pandemic was used divisively for many reasons for the Plutocracy to gain more power. Part, to discredit Trump before the election. Despite him being the one that initiated regulation to make the vaccine possible. Crazy how quickly people forgot about that. Many claiming they would never take a vaccine made by the Trump administration, but bent the knee pretty quickly once the media started broadcasting the apocalypse 24/7.
Trump got almost no credit for being the first president to not start a new war in a long time. I feel protectionism is the only way you can improve quality of life, and decrease inflation for the working class. Globalism, inherently causes inflation due to world competing markets that are controlled and not free. Due to how politics interferes with trade, via tariffs etc. All Trump did, was make it easier to manufacture at home by cutting back obscenely high taxes (that made trade go overseas to begin with), and increased tariffs on imports. This promotes domestic sourcing, and thus keeping the money inside the country. It is also an ethical thing, because overseas they use child and slave labour to make things and ship them back to the USA for obscene profits. A perfect example of this, is iPhones.
He also rode to the White House by scapegoating immigrants and refugees (provided they were from Latin America or the Middle East and not Eastern Europe like his wife), on the backs of fame caused by a shitty reality TV show. I don't need to be wrapped in a security blank it to remind me of this glorious time when all Americans respected the flag or rich dipshit "entrepreneurs" were national heroes or whatever warm fuzzy feelings he gave people. For that, I will not give him any credit.
This was entirely a fabrication by the media. And no, legal immigrants from the same countries also hate illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants paid, and waited to get into the country for a long time. People migrate out for Mexico etc to escape corruption, crime, and drug cartels etc. Everyone entirely overlooked the Latinos/Mexicans for Trump movement, because the media didn't report on it very well. And if they did, it was always to paint them in a bad light. Hence, influencing the election to make Trump look like a racist. When he in fact, was trying to help them by banning illegals from entering the country. I have no idea why people cannot wrap their heads around the concept of why illegal immigrants are bad. Not just because they have no proof of their existence, but also because of what can happen to them. Many illegal immigrants are treated like slaves, under threat of deportation by certain companies. This makes it more difficult for legal immigrants to get jobs who are competing with illegal immigrants who are being paid slave wages. Democrats love this, because they are making a profit off of it. And if they can get illegals to vote, they pretty much have established a system that will make them always win, and creating a form of slave class.
If we want proof that the American empire is in a state of decline, we need look no further than Trump.
Trump represents more of the spirit of America, in all of its history than the last 4 Presidents combined.
Sure you do. You whine about the election being stolen because your guy lost. Just a few posts back, you were criticizing democrats for doing that. But it's different in your case because it ; "really happened". The problem is that those people you are complaining about believe the exact same thing, that it's somehow different and not the same. Why should anyone think you're being more honest or correct in your assessment of the situation than they are?
They don't have to, they just need to recognize that Biden winning the election was some fuckery and pay close attention in the future. Can you imagine Biden being reelected? Do you honestly believe Biden is the most popular president in history? I can imagine some support, but I cannot believe him having achieved the most votes in history...
