[MENTION=26674]theforsaken[/MENTION] I think INFJ 2w1 is a very plausible combination. It would be a very different kind of INFJ than an INFJ 4, but still INFJ.

Based on what I have observed, the most common combos for INFJ are 4 and 9. Less frequent but common are 1, 2, 5, and 6. Types 3, and 8 are very rare, and 7 is extremely rare.

Aka, INFJ 2's arent seen often, but do exist.

I just remembered about your 'type my characters' thread and how people typed your October character as an INFJ type 4, albeit a very unhealthy one, and it sorta made me cringed painfully because that was exactly how I behaved when I was younger and traumatized. Can enneagram type change overtime, or is it like the MBTI and remains static?

I would imagine it remains static. Influencing factors could be wings, integration and disintegration, tritype, tritype wings, instinctual variants...Enneagram is complex.

Full disclosure: Last night I got to see the Aunt who introduced me to Typology years ago and is well-versed in Enneagram study. She was adamant that I was 4 w 5.

I was skeptical because I have never yet found a description that I could identify with completely. BUT, when I read the sources she directed me to, I was bowled over! Reading the explanations felt like “coming home”. Some of the wording used contained expressions/beliefs I frequently express.

I do find that aspects of being a 2w3 resonate, but not with the intensity of recognition I receive when reading 4w5. Will continue to research... Regardless I think we share lots in common @forsaken (smile).

To me MBTI is much more tangible than enneagram.
I was a 6 when I tested years ago, then I was a 1w2w3 and now it's 1w3w4. I never had that ambiguity with MBTI tests.

I'm pretty sure that type 2 is correlated with Fe more than anything else, so as long as you're typing as you're a 2 typing as some kind of FJ it doesn't strike me as that far-fetched.

Wrong. INFJs are unicorns.

INFJs are actually quite commonly 4s, but I think it might be possible for an INFJ with good developed Fe to be a type 2. Though I'd except this type for ENFJ if I go by stereotypes.
