Actually, you are. No one even expected the Steelers to win today. Or did you not get the memo about Tomlin keeping Ben out?

Yeah, as expected. My original quote was about the Steelers going from 11-0 to 3rd-seed in "a matter of weeks". Obviously, I wasn't just talking about today. I was reflecting over the last few weeks.

Man, Bills closed that season strong. They are mad hungry for a ring, and John Brown is back in the fold a double threat in the backfield between him and Diggs...Brian Daboll was the mastermind of this offense...must have given Josh Allen world-class knowledge to bring Allen to the next level. Even if Bills fall apart in the playoffs, Dabol surely will move onto greener pastures already having more superbowls than Chiefs' head coach, offensive and defensive coordinators combined...Daboll also did a stint in Alabama under that whackjob Saban...

Neither was I. Was Ben 100% before game 8 with Dallas? Yes. After the injury in game 8 with Dallas? No. This is not rocket science. Anything can happen when you're not 100% as well as injuries happening to other players on a team. It's like someone having a weather report way ahead of time that the month is going to get heavy rainfall but you post: "LOL look at all the rain in a matter of weeks."

Meanwhile, I'm standing under an umbrella. ;)

I'm tellin' you, man! Buffalo is going to give Kansas City a run for their money. (As I say this before wildcard weekend and they lose in the first round)

I really have no interest in the NFC playoffs but the AFC is going to be extremely interesting to watch. What a dramatic shift in conference parity you can have in only a few seasons.

It can go either way, honestly. I think Pittsburgh got exposed down the stretch, and if Cleveland can keep their current momentum going and not be the Cleveland Browns when it counts in the postseason, I could see that happening. That would be huge, though. Pittsburgh has been the older brother stealing Cleveland's figurative lunch money for decades now.

The AFC playoffs is going to be nuts: all the teams are all kinda hovering around the same point of skill, and any of those teams can seemingly beat the others on any given day (except the Dolphins). I can still feel some Buffalo upset of the Chiefs on the horizon. Jazzy thinks I'm not but Buffalo is seriously legit.

The NFC just doesn't have any team I can realistically see beating Kansas City. I don't think Green Bay is for real, but have benefitted of San Francisco imploding with injuries. Buccaneers can be had by any team that adjusts to their offense because they themselves don't make adjustments. Saints seem to have lost steam down the stretch. I dunno. No team in the NFC stands out to me. Maybe the Rams beat Arizona today and catch fire in the playoffs?

You can buy me a beer to cry in if you're right lmao.

I fucking hate the rams and they were a "bought" team that hasn't succeeded since. If I'm losing I'd rather it be to Arizona. Kyler Murray deserves some applause over there - they got one of the worst coaches in college football and handed him a shit old team and he's making the best of it.

I was joking with my mom how one day it'd be fun to see Wilson's Seahawks and Mahomes Chiefs in the superbowl because then I can't lose :D

If my Mahomie loses to someone I want it to be some diehard worthy team who really needed it like the Browns or something.

Or Buffalo, lol? Buffalo lost 4 Superbowls IN. A. ROW!!!!!

They just spent the last 20 years getting dumped on twice a year by the Patriots. Hell, they should've scored 50 on Belichick when they could this year.

Buffalo is starving for a championship and they are good enough to compete for one.

My OSU alum husband thinks Jim Harbaugh should have a lifetime job at Michigan. I would have thought since we have a child attending that university, his opinion would change. lol No.

I'm surprised at the lack of ire directed at the SEC though. They have the worst bootlickers, historically cough Paul Finebaum cough in addition to preferential treatment from officials, especially the bottomless Mimosa brunch CFP selection committee.

I met him when he was a Chicago Bear. What a prick. ;)

This was a trivia question our team had (when we could still go to bar trivia *sniff*). We were all like 4 SB IN A ROW! No other team has this distinction. Now that the Pats era is effectively done, I want those long starved fan bases like Buffalo and Cleveland to get some. The Bills - they good. I say Josh Allen is a roller coaster but he has that city behind him in addition to his teammates.

I know nobody asked, but I came back from 70 down in fantasy. It helps that Kamara was out today, because he got me butt-blasted last week.

It is already happening. What you're seeing now is the league's paradigm shift from all those teams that never bothered to develop suitable replacements to their quarterbacks they drafted in the early 2000s, and thus have been left with no real viable solutions when those guys either decide to finally bail in free agency or suddenly drop off a cliff in production (Steelers, Patriots, Giants, and soon to be Saints and Falcons). I, too, am glad to see some of those teams that spent the last two decades getting dumped on (Bills, Dolphins, Browns, Titans, Kansas City up until the Alex Smith/Mahomes years) get their turn. I'm totally OK if the Patriots suck for the next 5 to 10 years, and the fanbase should be as well.

as a former dolphins fan, I see this all just crumbling in like the Bengals. XD

KC lost. Man, they suck. Oh, wait. They allowed players to rest today. What a novel idea. ;)

Well, at least the Suns have some nice City jerseys going for them.

Also, KD and Kyrie both missed clean looks to win the game. I thought the Nets had it after Westbrook, on-brand, took an ill-advised 3.
