Personalty Test - Checking Results 1

Your answers indicate that you are likely this Enneagram type:

Type 5 - The Thinker
Type Fives are curious and use their powers of observation to develop detailed understandings of the world. They enjoy mastering an area of interest or a skill. Reserved and minimalists by nature, Fives enjoy independence and freedom from obligations. They have a calm and serious demeanor, and find it challenging to express their emotions. They prefer straightforward communication without drama or repetition. Fives can feel overwhelmed by busyness, loud people and environments, and by strong emotions.

Your answers also indicate that are likely this Jungian type:

INTJ
INTJ's are analytical and independent, and focus on deeply understanding what interests them. They are good at long range thinking and making the connection between theories and practical application and plans. They value knowledge and competence, and can be demanding of themselves and critical of others who are less capable. They are emotionally sensitive, but rarely show it, and often appearing reserved or detached. They need lots of time alone for processing their emotions and thoughts.

Yup, seems right to me. I thought it was going to give me the wing too...

I've never gotten a type one enneagram result before, but man I really like this test. My only complaint is that I kinda wanted to click everything as an answer - it was hard to choose the most correct one.
I loved how different this was from the typical, adjective laden testing approach.

At first I got ENFJ Type 7, then after answering the other questions I got a result that I related to more. ENFP Type 3. :)

Type 9 - The Peacemaker
Type Nines are understanding of different perspectives and can see where there is common ground. They are open-minded and calm, and they can be very diplomatic. They prefer harmonious situations and being supportive while avoiding or mediating conflict. They focus on the positive, though underneath their peaceful exterior they may feel anxious, angry, or numb. Their sensitivity to others makes it difficult for them to always know where they themselves stand, and they may act spaced-out or apathetic.

ISFP
ISFP's are open-minded, gentle and helpful, and interested in peaceful relationships and situations. They demonstrate their caring and loyalty by quietly serving others. They are very sensitive to aesthetics. They can be original and creative with a finely tuned appreciation for beauty and serenity. They tend to focus on the present moment. They are modest, adaptable, and trusting, and may not speak up or assert themselves. They prefer to find ways to avoid or smooth over conflicts.
As always. Never heard that ISFPs are into quietly serving others before, though.

That's because you didn't see my ISFP wife (quietly) taking care of my mother in ICU before she died.

I certainly didn't. Nice. Not something you'd normally read in an ISFP description, though.

Lol no. That's the opposite of who I am. I feel alive when I'm asserting myself and in conflict.

That's right. It's because ISFP descriptions are terrible.

Thanks for all the great feedback.
I have copied and reviewed everything on this thread.
Most of the changes have been implemented, though a couple of the more time consuming fixes are still in the works.
I am pleased with the reception as this knowledgeable and interested group is a great testing ground.
Please share this with friends and other interested folks. (See link at the beginning of the thread.)

[Please note that the Promo Code I gave earlier for a manual is no longer in effect.
I'll also watch this thread, and thanks in advance for future feedback.]

Took it again. Got e9 & ENFJ...So exactly on target.

My original test scored e2 & I often get that on Enneagram tests these days, so I keep wondering if my 964 isn't really 926.....

Overall, it is an easy and enjoyable test, with nice language and style

I got:

Type 3 - The Achiever
Type Threes work hard to achieve their goals and success. They are good at seeing what's possible and figuring out how to get the job done. They value and know how to make a good impression. Emotionally, Threes contain their feelings and offer a friendly and optimistic face to the world. They have difficulty acknowledging their deeper feelings, and they can overlook the emotional needs of others. Three's absorption in their own pursuits can lead them to overtax themselves and the people around them.

and

ENTJ
ENTJ's are confident and assertive with a strong desire to be in charge. They have the ability to comprehend complex problems and to forge practical and innovative solutions. They value knowledge and being effective, and they can be quick to criticize what they perceive as inefficiencies and incompetence. Their direct and decisive style can be an asset in some situations, but it may seem confrontational and controlling in others.

So it did not get me correctly, but it's not entirely wrong.

The MBTI questions were too obvious for me to answer at all properly (though I got ISFP then ISTJ if it matters).

For enneagram, it first gave me 5, then 9. I feel like the latter fits better than the former.

The enneagram bits seemed rather thorough, but the MBTI portions most certainly did not.
