To me it actually did make sense but it wasn't part of the quick scans of theories I made in my mind for why this occurred prior to posting but I couldn't come up with anything that felt solid... I think you got it!...what you said is definitely a major contributing factor. (Do you know I've actually said these words many times "Greek Mythology was one of my favorite classes/was one of the most valuable classes I've ever taken" and yet I can't remember jack shit anymore. I don't remember what went down with Pegasus...but if you're not into the story...you're going with the Unicorn.)

I know that he was in the Disney Hercules movie but that's all I remember . . . I'm with you that Greek mythology is fun(!), but it's actually way more detailed and complicated than one might normally give credit for. It's been a while since I learned about it too and there are only a few really memorable stories that stick out in my mind. Pretty funny that this got brought up as I was considering making an favorite Greek myth thread. XD Maybe I will . . . *stares off into the distance*

Did you know I had wanted to become an archaeologist at one point in time? <--This of course was up until I had traveled to Egypt and actually participated on a dig...subsequently dedicating the majority of my mental energy towards trying to figure out how to commit suicide using only a paintbrush and bottle of Siwa Oasis

I don't wish to pollute your blog with meaningless things but I couldn't remember if it was Siwi or Siwa and when checking became impressed with this Arabic to English gif. Most places in Siwa are not even wired for electricity...but they're still kickin some serious technological ass!

. You and I are both extraordinarily sensible people and yet I can only assume you have been mislead just like I had been (if not more only because you're slightly less sensible)... I promise you... 97% of work an archaeologist does perils in comparison to the heart-stopping excitement of say... raking leaves or folding clothes. And as soon as it became clear to me that Harrison Ford, Howard Carter, Brendan Fraser <--none of these guys were showing-up to make things slightly more interesting...I did exactly as you would have done...maybe. I immediately dropped out of school and created my own adventure.

In short, from approximately 1600 BC - 400 AD this is where people pilgrimaged when they were ready for and wanted to know the Truth. And they came by the thousands to get the truth from the one and only God that could not and would not lie... "the Delphinian" or Apollo

Apollo was known to be sunny, sociable, handsome, competitive/athletic, highly emotional, romantic, fun-loving... he was basically, the "People's Choice" of Gods really. Which has always made it a curious thing to me that Apollo was also incapable of lying. I mean, how in the hell does one go about being sunny, sociable, adored and brutally honest? That shit wouldn't fly here. God or not...Apollo would be permabanned within a week... and then we'd have the whole "good riddance" and "he was mean to me once" and "the mods work very hard and don't get paid" thing. Apollo would clearly not be welcome here.

But what I'm truly interested in knowing in this moment is how you, Nixie, would type Apollo's instinctual variants haha. SX first, SO last? What if Apollo was only brutally honest with the Romans, Greeks and the handful of Africans and Arabs making the journey...but was sure to lie to a Swede or English person when presented with their questions...
"Apollo, do these jeans make my ass look big?" "Not. At. All. Your ass looks fantastic."

And also...do you think I would score higher than my highest score of 32% on the social variant if I was visiting Delphi in Greece? I don't know...I just have this strange feeling all of my behaviors and actions would be way more socially savvy on Mediterranean soil.
