I agree that Magik (esp if portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy) could easily be a breakout star of the upcoming MCU with the addition of the X-Men roster... but I have little faith that Disney will pull it off, after butchering Scarlet Witch and most of their content after Endgame. They just don't know how to make an emotionally resonant and suspenseful film or show nowadays, it seems, they still haven't assembled a decent director and/or writer bullpen overall.

Magik was one of the coolest characters from when I was growing up. I remember her getting snatched by Belasco and that four-issue limited series explaining what happened to her in Limbo (which I bought off the rack, it was current content to me in my teens!) was just so freaking awesome, sad, resonant, etc. She entered the ranks of those characters separated from others by a realm of loneliness and unique experience, where no one else would really be able to grasp what she went through, while also being tainted by darkness and left trying to reconcile that with her humanity and her desire for good.

And of course she was then the bestie of my fave Kitty Pryde, and the sister of my other fave Colossus at the time, so...

Mark Brooks's done a lot more in this line-animation style (which I prefer to his digital paints).

And here's a non-comic one lol
