Well you do sound passionate about criticizing his morals and made a general statement that can fit the whole class of presidents. You say " A paranoid cherry picker who's convinced he's right"... like there is a totalitarian ruler that doesn't seem like that? Even in the second post you had to add "corrupt" which is also strange remark. I mean he is in power! He does not have to be corrupted unlike his subordinates. I know enough about Russia and the sentiment. He combines well European and Asian part of Russian mentality, together with the 20th century socialist culture.

You can call him paranoid, but staying in power for so long after Yeltsin fucked up the system is something he would never be able to do if he didn't show "paranoia" like behavior. Also, once your dictatorship pass a certain point (you make a lot of enemies) you are bound to either stay in power for life or be assassinated and humiliated. Ergo, for him leaving power is not an option.

I reacted, because the comment seemed pretentious and emotionally charged, while expressing primarily general characteristics of any totalitarian ruler.

Putin is likely one of the richest, if not the richest man in the world. His wealth was stolen from Russians like yourself so I have no idea why you continue to support him unless he's your employer.

Short summary for you in the context of clumsy statement which showed how emotionally charged you are, and also pretty much a good proof that I was right to pick on your statement as biased:

not sure i see INTJ tbh. most INTJs I know prefer to control the world behind the scenes not be out in front waving their bare chests to the wind. also, would like to think better of Fi, esp in tert position, as not enjoying the false displays of concocted machismo.
