After losing a challenge to the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, Patriots coach Bill Belichick smashed a phone in frustration.

Not surprising. He is having his first losing season in two decades, plus has to hear constantly now how it was Brady that carried him to six championships yadda yadda. I can only imagine how frustrating it would be to coach a team that utterly untalented his team is after coaching championship caliber teams for that long.

I hope Bill decides to stick around through the rebuild and make one more run at a championship before he retires.

Johnson would go on to explain that the reason Belichick wants to move on from Brady is to prove himself without the player who many view as the greatest in NFL history. "I think he wants to see what he can do without Tom," Johnson said. "Because I think one of the great debates is, who's more important to the franchise? Bill or Tom? And I think Bill wants to separate himself from Tom."

Ted Johnson: 'Bill Belichick doesn't want Tom Brady as his quarterback anymore' | RSN

I think Bill got his answer.

In the YouTube comment section:

"Brady asked how his season was going."

Haha.

Honestly, the first 3 were won on the strength of the superior defense and special teams. The one against the Seahawks I'll let Tom have, but Malcolm Butler's interception which he did say they'd practiced in practice (again, coaching) certainly helped, but yeah I'll give that one to Tom. The Superbowl against the Falcons was all Tom. The Superbowl against the Rams was all on the defense.

To me, the legacy of Tom Brady is that rare situation where pretty good talent meets superior coaching and, the biggest rarity, organizational stability. Stability within the organization makes so much of a big deal and is why lots of players that could be great end up failing amongst coaching/front office carousels with inconsistent visions of how the team should he constructed. If great quarterback play could overcome terrible coaching and a chaotic organization, Matthew Stafford would be a winner in this league.

Notre Dame is easily the most overrated program in college football right now.

I wonder how much OSU paid those fucking refs

but the Clemson OC has covid so he wasn't there, they are down their deep receiver, and they've also played a whole season so don't have as much go power as a less beat up Ohio State. OSU as usual though I swear they'll do everything for those fucks.

Wasn't Dabo Swinney crying because Ohio State made it into the bowl game despite having less than 10 wins? Then they get pummeled? If so, that's hilarious and poetic at the same time.

Not a big fan of OSU, but I think they deserved the win tonight. Especially because Dabo i.e. Pastor Swinney talked his shit way too soon. I'm more annoyed at the Big 10 changing the rules for their beloved Ohio State 3 times to get them in.

I'm gonna need Washington to win against Philly tomorrow.

As a backup (since a lot of Washington's starters are questionable for the game apparently), please God, let the Giants beat the Cowboys. I will be pissed beyond belief if Dallas wins the NFC East.

Dominating victory for Ohio at the Sugar Bowl...As I've said before, Justin Fields will make a better NFL QB than Trevor Lawrence and is a better first round pick. Lawrence will probably even turn out to be a dud.

I'm laughing at how soon Urban Meyer and Trevor Lawrence will meet again if Jacksonville actually snags Urban lmao.

Little basketball diversion:

John Wall, man. Dude is back. Obviously some things still rusty for him, mainly his 3-point shot and the number of turnovers he's had both games back. But, I love him for my Houston Rockets.

I think Harden's getting back in with the team culture. I still keep thinking of this as a sort of last dance, so I'm just sitting back and enjoying this season, come what may.

Christian Wood, man. Dude is a fucking stud, that's all I can say.
