I fully expect Stephon Gilmore to be traded in the offseason.
Christian Wood was such a great pickup for the Rockets, man.
I don't get why James Harden wants to leave so badly when the Rockets could have a better team this year than they did last year.
Dwayne Haskins, on brand, is fucking up Washington's chances of winning the NFC East right now. I never thought I'd be so invested in seeing Washington come out the NFC East, but this is where I need the....*takes deep breath and swallows a brickload of pride*...need the Cowboys to win against the Eagles. Assuming Washington beats the Eagles next week.
Dwayne Haskins is gone after this year, I just wonder if there's anything there with him. Apparently Dan Snyder requested him be drafted, yet the previous coaching regime wasn't that high on him and never really invested much in developing him. Riverboat Ron kinda inherited him but I'm not sure -- he's a defensive-minded head coach who may not have been the right person to develop him properly. I see him as another Josh Rosen in that he was drafted by a bad team that had a major coaching change afterward, yet he'a clearly less talented on the initial eyeball test. Coaching matters, though, I don't care what anyone says about that. Good players can be ruined by going to bad franchises, yet I'm not quite sure that's the case here.
Also, how the hell did the Browns lose to the Jets? I didn't even bother to watch because I figured it was a freebie. With the resurgence of Baltimore, there is a very realistic shot they could miss the playoffs if they lose to the Steelers, which history is not on their side on that one. That would be the most Cleveland Browns way of ending their season.....
The Browns' entire receiving core was put on the COVID list and then some. But, unlike the Ravens, the league did not bend over backwards for the Browns. With their playoff berth on the line. Which is ridiculous. You can't decimate an entire position and expect there to not be a significant cost, even against thr shitty Jets.
And Ohio State QBs tend to be hella overrated.
Ah. That makes sense. Damn. It doesn't help that their last game is a divisional opponent; they seem to have some sort of curse when it comes to playing divisional opponents that aren't the bengals. This is just one of those weird seasons where you have a bunch of pretty good-ish (11-5/10-6) stacked in one conference.
