Meh. I'm more interested in the new J. J. Abrams movie. Especially the cast:
I also wish to view that movie.
I'll make it a point to see it with my parents when it opens this Christmas.
I can't do that.
I have no desire to see it, even though I like the actors who play Ben Grimm and Doctor Doom. I'm amazed that they managed to make it even worse than the first two Fantastic Four movies. I mistakenly assumed that was impossible to do.
Heard of it. Never seen it, though.Have you ever heard of the Roger Corman Fantastic Four movie? It is MST3K worthy.
Heard of it. Never seen it, though.
The Human Torch is black? That's a bit surprising.
Is he? I thought the best part of the 2000's Fantastic Four was The Human Torch, and as we all know, Chris Evans went on to do bigger and better things.
In the comic, Human Torch isn't actually black. He's always been portrayed as a white guy since the 1960's since his first debut in the comics. In the F4 movies, he's played by a black guy.
I don't care what color anyone is. Nick Fury has always been a white guy too, yet no one complained much about the Avengers. If the FF movie was good, it wouldn't be an issue.
Comic books are always spinning and reinventing to become relevant to the culture.
Why?Human Torch and Nick Fury are iconic characters. These characters have been around since the 60's. Having their race chance does a great disservice to the character's history. Race does matter if you made a conscious effort to change it or even argue why it shouldn't matter.
