Been reading a lot of fiction and non-fiction. Been staying positive for a while now. Quit smoking at least 2 months ago. Am doing much better financially. More organized. Cleaner.

Being more practical. Keeping up with things. More focused. Full of good ideas. Taking small steps. Very peaceful.

Still need to make some bigger and bolder moves, though. I should go back and read the first post I wrote about making this the best summer of my life. I know I've fallen quite short of what I set out for, but this is still probably is the best summer of my life!

I plan to go skydiving before it starts to get cold out.

Summer is over. It didn't go as planned. It sucked. I didn't challenge myself enough. I could say that the past me at the beginning of the summer, who had such great dreams, was an idiot who was only fooling himself, but that's not true. The current me is the idiot. :) My tolerance for failure never stops growing stronger. This summer was a colossal failure. There's no denying it or rationalizing my way out of it. One more gone by... but not in vain. Let's make this the best winter of my life! (I count Autumn as Winter because cold is cold.)
