Why would Black people laud the FBI or criticize protection against self-incrimination? The FBI search of Donald Trump's home has reawakened Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Progressives love the FBI? Leftists embrace the Espionage Act? Of course, one man is responsible for this madness, and he is none other than Donald J. Trump, 45th president of the United States. The fallout from the FBI search conducted at Trump’s home shows the rank confusion spread by people who call themselves liberal but who are as dangerous as anyone on the right. From the moment that Trump announced the raid they were in full fascist mode, even as they claimed to be fighting fascism.

The years long Russiagate investigation is responsible for ordinarily sensible people losing their minds. Hardly anyone recalls that the charge of collusion was actually disproven, that Robert Mueller only indicted for process crimes, such as those which occur when people let down their guard and talk to the FBI. Most Americans who know the name Paul Manafort think he was a Russian spy but don’t know that he went to jail for tax and bank fraud. Propaganda works very well when it is repeated over and over again.

Worse than the silly Trump inspired derangement is the way that those who call themselves left or progressive have chosen to defend federal law enforcement and bad legislation like the Espionage Act. The Espionage Act is a relic from the earliest days of the cold war, and Woodrow Wilson’s infamous Palmer Raids which targeted the left for persecution and prosecution. Barack Obama used it more than all previous presidents combined in order to prosecute journalists who published what the state didn’t want us to know. As for the FBI, its Counter Intelligence Program, COINTELPRO, created dissension in the liberation movement, targeted individuals for prosecution, spied on Martin Luther King and told him to commit suicide, and killed Fred Hampton and Mark Clark among others. The FBI continues to use informants to entrap Black people in phony terror cases.

Of course, this spectacle is also used to deflect from Biden administration failures. His approval rating is still low, for the simple reason that he didn’t do what he claimed he would for American voters. He continues to pour public money into the losing effort in Ukraine and needlessly provokes Russia and China. But who is paying attention if there is speculation that Trump put files in Ivana’s casket?

It is time to nip this foolishness in the bud before it goes any further. Trump should not live rent free in our collective consciousness any longer. He cannot be allowed to distract from the current president’s actions or become a rallying point for politics which will inevitably be useless. No one has to follow Trump’s shenanigans any longer or allow the corporate media or the democratic party to make him their focus. Doing so only makes it harder to do the already hard work of recreating Black politics.

When I have thoughts on them I share them albeit i tend to be briefer here and more in detail in a (debatable) less cryptically outside of the random threads. I tend to share sources out of the gate rather than long strings of my opinion on them first; then if someone else comments on the source or whatever...I'll generally expound or opine a bit. It's less about me getting to discuss my opinion, and more about putting out things that have made me think about things that are going on or being discussed. If someone wishes to engage on that further, in good faith, well then conversations can happen. If in bad faith, less of a conversation and more of a dance I suppose, but then what isnt these days. God I miss when people had lunches to discuss random philosophical and current events of the day. Our kingdom for a water cooler. The videos, articles, sources etc; are sort of the newspaper on the table that can be discussed or not and if it sparks enough of a discussion can get its own thread; as this is one of our many random thing threads. hmmm I think I just realized what happened to scrapbooking...but I digress. I understand the extreme right went after doctors at the children's hospital for doing gender transition surgery, which was hyped up beyond reality? I know this isn't an exact parallel, but what is technically gender exaggeration surgery (breast implants, penis enlargement) have not had legal age restrictions. Teenage girls have always been able to get breast implants, although most doctors informally do not perform the surgery before they are 18. No one ever complained about that or gender exaggeration surgery and supplements in any other context.

I can see it is important to establish the optimal intersection between proper age to be able to give full consent combined with complete body autonomy, allowing individuals to have control over their own body and identity.

It is really strange how fixated the far right is on this topic. It's hard to understand the obsession. Does anyone have an idea why it is such a fixation for the far right?

Our mere existence seems to be an urban legend of fear for them. Somehow we scare them, while actually not being any threat to them what so ever. tbh i think they might be incapable of not seeing us as just sex objects on some level, and they've always been highly fixated on while denying what they're secretly into. Its very toxic whatever it is.

Yup, there are medical guidelines in place and the hyperbolic accusations aren't anywhere close to the medical practice reality.

They've been obsessed with abortion and gays since 1980. This is just the new thing -- a violation of the natural order of the world that God created and running against the sacrosanct view of the binary ordained by God's holy law.

That's the considerate view; the cynical view is their leaders typically love relying on dog whistles to drum up financial wealth and political power, and they will use what they can.

The really sick part is it's typically their own leaders and priests who abuse their power and their children, statistically. It makes me ill to see how often they excuse their own tribe being far more culpable of the things they fear, because they have perfect cover to practice such abuse.

In a normal world, they'd leave well enough alone and let these decisions be made by the kids, the parents, and their doctors -- just as they want to have autonomy to make their own decisions for their own families.

I used to be more patient. Now I just feel angry a lot of the time.

Basically, the government was slowly growing to support LGBTQ and they were caught off guard. Since they see themselves as victims who will lose their ability to "practice faith" if these things are more and more permitted, they are trying to eradicate such support.

This guy doesn't look like MAGA to me, who is the MAGA in the video? He's gay, an attention seeker, and somewhat black. He's probably doing it all that for attention and looks like an F-dominant type.

This lady is more like it. I think she is an xSTP.

I am getting confused about US politics, these guys (MAGAs) are considered conservatives but they are not regular xSTJ/xSFJ conservatives but are xSTPs. xSTJs and xSFJs are more pro-state/pro-establishment whereas SPs are more anti-establishment.

xSTJs and xSFJs cannot vote for Democrats because Democrats have become too deeply centered around xSFP ideology (maybe just on the surface, enough to get their votes), so if xSTPs (MAGA) vote for Trump, then who then do the xSTJs and xSFJs vote for?

The newspaper also reported there was a boy who identified himself as a dog for a period of time and had been treated by Melbourne psychologist. In March a group of female students at an elite Brisbane private school were walking on all fours and cutting holes into their uniforms for tails because they identify as cats or foxes.

'When a girl went to sit at a spare desk, another girl screamed at her and said she was sitting on her tail; there's a slit in this child's uniform where the tail apparently is,' a concerned parent told the Courier Mail. The school denied the claim from the parent.
