So I'm taking a fiction writing class every Wednesday evening. Part of the deal is turning in two complete short stories over the course of the semester. I got the first one done a bit early, but I've been... sluggish... to start on the second one. At first I didn't bother for a few weeks because I had a week's vacation coming up, which would give me "plenty of time".
Guess how well that worked out
. The vacation's been over for a couple of weeks now, I've had to give my professor a deadline of April 16th, and still... I haven't written word one. Done a little research, thought a bit about it, but actual writing? Nada. And I've got less than half of my original time for it. Aaaah! Why am I doing this to myself? Well, perhaps now is as good a time as any. Of course, so was three weeks ago
