I feel ENTPs seem more extroverted than ENTJs... It's just what I have observed, obviously this is from my personal perspective. I don't know the fact.
Yeeeahnaaa.
It's not that simple, we're just different in how we "extrovert", as an ENTP with an ENTJ brother I see a lot of similarities but he has a harsher more driven towards success edge while I have a more laid back want success but get distracted along the path to getting it edge.
Neither of us would be, or even want to be, the centre of attention at a loud house party (kay put some vodka in him and all bets are off, kay in either of us), his extroversion shows in Te, he is not at all shy about being forward or assertive, my extroversion shows more in wanting to make people laugh and be happy. Both of us are in our elements when there is a smaller group of people willing to talk about something we're passionate about. I do tend to yield to him in debates though, he takes them way more seriously and doesn't flex as he's already decided on his position before we get into things, debates are how I make up my mind so I need the flex.
He has strong internal morals, thank goodness, as without them I could see his ENTJness steeping over anyone to get ahead, he has the brains and inclination to do anything he puts his mind to when it comes to business. I'm similar only replace "business" with "fun" or "pointless things".
ENTP and ENTJ are totally different beasts. Where we appear to be similar is the need to control our environments but for different reasons. Another similarity is the ability to extrovert with people but once again, not for the same reasons as each other and not in the more traditional SJ or SP sense. The "T" dichotomy dislikes being disturbed when focus is on thinking.
We both intuit but in different ways. Priorities are different.
Amen miss kickass ENTJ!
ENTP:
- eccentric weirdo who's generally not popular except for his small group of friends, seems quiet except when making smartass remarks in class (well-deserved ones at that) or inside the CEO's office, assaulting him with a barrage of "suggestions" to improve the business.
- Had to learn/work to be organized.
- very forgetful of names, details, dates, etc.
- clumsy
- has ability to actually enjoy a vacation.
- more artistic/musical inclination
ENTJ:
- charismatic Harvard alumni who works as an investment banker. Never had problems making/keeping friends, excellent for networking purposes
- naturally organized from birth, effortlessly
- sharp memory for anything
- very athletic and coordinated, naturally
- will die of a heart attack by 40 because of their inability to enjoy vacations.
- strictly a number-crunching/accounting person
As an ENTP: I don't relate to the "eccentric weirdo" label but the rest of that statement is hella true. I'm not clumsy. I rock at sports. And my blood-pressure from stress is scary heart-attack material. The rest fits.
As an ENTJ my brother is the most uncoordinated person I know in sports, he looks like a giraffe when you get him on a sports field of any kind, it's freaken hilarious. He is very musically inclined, and has always had a natural ear for it. He specialises in law and accountancy so the rest fits.
