All this thread says is that a handful of so-called NTs are Philistines.

and I love music of all sorts.
With lyrics??? That rhyme?????
I wish I could enjoy poetry, I'm just so apathetic about some things I have to be interested in it first. Maybe in the future.
What? The request was for a demonstration. For some reason you attempted to prove your assertion by restating it in other words, which is of course circular reasoning. Therefore, once again: demonstration, please.
I like some poetry. Paul Van Ostaijen is one of my favourites. He made a poem about a sewing machine, trying to capture the sounds it made. No meaning behind it - just rhytmical word-play. Awesome.
And there are - of course - the poems of one of my former professors: Alfred Warrinier... they are poems about math. Even the most die-hard NT can love that
QUOTE]
AHHH those poems actually sound great!! Why does my professor only assign stuff about sentimental romance old people memories?
Hey PINKY. I never posted that second comment, whatever that nonsense means.
You think you can outsneak an entp?
This Philistine prefers reading war stories, philosophy, sci-fi, and non-fiction, danke schon.
I like visual art (EXCEPT for that modern art nonsense - I'm talking about art that doesn't look like someone threw up on an easel), and I love music of all sorts.
But reading sentimental stanza-ed trash about how old yellowed linens smell like Grandma?
NEIN danke. That WILL make me create "modern art" aka blowing chunks on the paper the poem is written on.
Aren't I classy?

I don't think that you

haiku tend to be.
Do not most haiku
Require one more syllable
Than what you have here?

I thought it was 5/7/5...
It is. The line "Realize just how nerdy" has six syllables. That's why I pointed it out. Although, I guess I could be wrong to count "realize" as having two instead of three syllables. Ree-lize v.s. Ree-uh-lize.
same with require
"ree kwy urr"
