Fine by me. If it makes you feel better I'll wear a Brady avatar. We good now?

I'd only agree to it if he changes his avatar to Matthew Lesko. Somebody needs to be Matthew Lesko around here.

Apparently the Russell Wilson rumors have some truth to it -- he isn't happy with how the organization has done little in the way of providing him a competent offensive line. Apparently Seattle is entertaining trade offers for him, too.

Me seeing all the offseasons movement already:

you all do not understand
how many years
I've spent screaming at my TV
about them not doing this exact thing.

LOL at Duke and Kentucky both not making March Madness this year. Anyone keeping up with it, which team are you backing?
I'm rooting for Houston and Oklahoma State, myself, even though they're in the same region.

I don't blame him. Facing Nick Bosa, Aaron Donald, and now JJ Watt a combined 6 times in a season is enough to make even the most seasoned like Russ be concerned. Does Seattle seriously not realize they're at risk of placing 3rd or 4th in the division because of how seriously vulnerable Russ is to getting concussed and having to be subbed this season?

That's future Chicago Bears legend Russell Wilson to you!

Wilson for Trubisky + picks. Trubisky plays Bosa, Watt, and Donald a combined 6 times this upcoming season or gets mercifully concussed out of the league within 2 games. Seattle tanks hard and gets their future franchise QB, Sam Howell. God's plan.

That trade actually works considering Pete Carroll likes to primarily run the football and use his quarterback as a game manager, throwing only when necessarily, and with Trubisky not being all that stellar at throwing.....

I just finished a book called The Dynasty about the Kraft-era Patriots (and completely forgot Carroll was the Pats' coach for 2 seasons). It was frustrating to read about how much he under-utilized Drew Bledsoe. Granted, it seems almost inevitable in hindsight with his career-ending injury that he'd have been eclipsed by Brady, but that's one thing that's been frustrating about Carroll's schemes in general. Especially at the goal line...

Does it explain why Carroll got fired so quickly? Up until that point New England wasn't that great of a franchise (they had two superbowl appearances up to that point-- One against the 85 Bears in which they got demolished, and the other the 1996 season in which they lost to the Packers). He actually had a decent coaching tenure in New England, going 10-6 and winning a playoff game before going 9-7 and 8-8, then getting fired. I think he just has a very oldschool mentality to the game; run the football and control the clock while playing good defense. I
