I can be kind of pretentious, but not in a way that has to do with social status, I don't think. And I've been working on calming my know-it-all tendencies for a while.

Castaway on the Moon [Korean] (2009) - good, even comes with unexpected happy ending. I really like that one.

ISTJs have a real mean dry humor. They also tend to be wittier, in my experience.

In terms of temperament, they are more low key; the energy they bring to social situations feels more dredged up from their reserves than natural.

Although ISTJs I've met are not afraid of confrontation, they aren't as quick to engage in it if they feel they don't have to.

ESTJs are generally more confrontational in nature and tend to enjoy a social challenge. ISTJs would only get mistaken for enjoying the same if their bluntness is read wrong.

Their focus levels are also much, much higher.


Personally, I see myself as less serious than most ISTJs I've met on the whole. They can be damned funny when they want, but they're generally not as warm as ESTJs. At least in my experience.
