Calling something pretentious is publically acknowledging that you have given up.

I don't mind talking and sound, but I prefer silence at times.

But I died a bit inside over the years my wife wouldn't talk with me. That silence was very bad ( and still is, occasionally.....)

This is the one the one speaks of. This sort of deadly silence. It cannot be blamed, the other, but you see, silence is painful sometimes. This is the point the one makes for the sake of all...for the sake of unity.

I can be pretty quiet, and maybe that it pretentious, but I think that people who think I really care about what they have to say- who speak just to fill the silence- are pretentious in and of themselves. But maybe I am pretentious for saying that.

As a noisy motherfucker, you find this to affirm your will.

This one confuses noise for writing. But makes no difference. If silence can be noise as we say then so is writing. This one makes no point then like the one before. The mirror is held for him to see only him.

Death gives life it's meaning, that means that death makes Being possible.

Death awakens us to the truth of our Being. Death reveals (discloses), and un-hides ourselves to ourselves.

That is to say Death is the reflection of life.

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

Silence explained:

Of course, the scenes in this movie are all jumbled and out of order. The names and faces have been changed to protect the innocent.

There's a difference between comfortable silence, uncomfortable silence, and snooty silence, my friend. But the devil is in telling them apart!

Then the one asks, how do we know, so that the all can defend against the snooty rebukes?
