It's this house I used to drive past every morning on my way to school. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture but here are some that have a similar color scheme. The house also has a lot more trees around it, kinda like a cover over the house which makes it seem so cozy and secluded.

A house on an island near Japan, the interior of that house should be decorated in a Japanese additional style. Most importantly it should have a kabuki theatre attached because I would love to watch at least one theatre performance each day. Also, the interior of this house would be decorated with hand-carved wooden masks to give it an aesthetic touch.

I tend to prefer more modern architecture, but there is something about castles. i don't really need the living space, but i would likely turn a small wing into a living area and the rest into a recording studio i could use and rent out to musicians (I bet the acoustics are superb in some of the larger rooms)--that's how the hell i'd be able to afford the property tax and heating on this beast. I would probably convert the left side into living quarters for my family. Otherwise, I would continue to live modestly. No need for furniture worth thousands of dollars or fountains in the main hall. I would completely renovate and modernize the recording studio section, and probably go for a more mid-century aesthetic in the living spaces (since mid-century modern is the wife's favorite style), but I might make some of the downstairs parts more in line with the exterior and go slightly more traditional, style wise. I'd also probably have a gaming room with a pool table, various video game systems, and maybe a table for cards or tabletop RPGs

I have actually been in this mansion before (it is open to public tours and currently houses offices) and there are actual secret passages. Plus lots of little "nook" like rooms tucked away that would be great little hiding spots for introverts like myself.
