pink floyd, mike oldfield, elton john - since i was 14.
jimi hendrix - since i was 15.
syd barrett (solo) - since i was 16.
radiohead, akvarium (russian soft rock band), alisa (russian heavy metal/christian rock band) - since i was 18.
dead can dance, smashing pumpkins - since i was 19.
i still listen to the same but with some additions, e.g. the cocteau twins or electronic music, which i have grown really fond of.
there has also been a lot of pop music inbetween, mostly disco and 80s-90s dance music - f.r. david, modern talking, abba, ace of base, haddaway, masterboy, dj bobo, pharao, doctor alban, contemporary radio hit singles. i can't say i listen to these in the full sense of the word - i tune out and go into daydream mode, but as background music, they are great. something about the strong beat and dynamic flow of the music is stimulating to the imagination.
