Friend (Thinker) asked if I could make a list of questions for our group while travelling. The 'wish list' was: 1. fun to talk about 2. help us get to know each other more deeply and 3. coax out more 'emotion' or personal details.
We've had great conversations now & it's made me want to hear what you all would say too. Do 'em all or just pick one that appeals. Look forward to reading your replies on the road! >^.,.^<

Sorry for the late reply!!

It's been a hell of a work week.
-superhero power
I think about this a lot, and flip flop answers..
I think if I got healing, I'd always be upset if there was some disease/disorder I couldn't touch with my powers
If I had super strength I'd be sooo happy with it but with flying I could help others.. I could help search for victims in disasters, grab people from falling, sell my services to people as a unique business..
If I had flying I could search for victims in disasters, catch people from falling, literally swoop in and save the day sort of thing.
If I had telekinesis I would probably have done some not-great-person things as a younger me like throwing cars out of my way in traffic selfishly while justifying they were drunk drivers being awful, and live with the guilt of doing things like that.
If I had invincibility, I could be a wall of destruction in hostage situations..
Invisibility? Omfggg... I can't even.
So, I'm a cheater, and always say that my super power would be to choose a super power daily..

technology that's now obsolete
Fuuuu... I love some old stuff from Victorian times like ice boxes and cool olders gadgets... I think swords are pretty obsolete as well and love them dearly. Most hand-held weaponry that isn't a gun really. But, the one I use on a wintery basis?
https://smile.amazon.com/Platinum-Catalyst-Flameless-Metal-Warmer/dp/B000CGG5EC?sa-no-redirect=1 One of these things. I have an older one from Japan my BF got me for my first christmas with him

but these things I don't know WHY they've been replaced with stupid disposable stuff, but they are awesome!!! Fill them with lighter fluid, light them up when it gets cold at night, and BOOM! Suuuuuper warm hands for a very long time! They save me in these colder climates, and they're better for the environment than cracking open those awful hand shakers.
-human invention
Fuuuu.. Another thing I flip flop about a lot. I think electricity is my favorite?

based on my daily use of it. I think electricity for sure. Like, recent invention? Robots. Im really, really excited for robots.

place to be kissed
You mean other than my lips? ... My hand.

I know that sounds pretty lame, but I think it's such a sweet gesture that's gone to the wayside. Though, it's not very practical now-a-days, and I like my cheeks being kissed as a more ... practical substitute. My nephews kissing my cheeks hello is just great, and I am a fan of french-style cheek kissing. My neck is a veeerrrrry close running second, but it's a rather intimate spot for me. I dislike people touching my neck in a casual manner.
-pizza toppings
All of them?!!! I eat everything.

Particularly, I am a fan of anchovies, which a lot of people hate.. I think probably a saltier cheese like goat cheese or feta really makes a pizza too. And jalapenos for spice!!
-
person who makes you laugh
My boyfriend.
-time of the day to wake up
Ooommmphhhh my favorite is like 10-11 am. I work the night shift, and I muuuuch prefer it to waking up early ever. Waking up early is.. alright, it has its charm at times, but when I wake up early and its not my own choosing, blehhhh.

snack
Like, everything in Japanese convenience stores.
Savory snack: Cheese being involved... Ploughman style meat/cheese/pickle/cracker plates are probably my fav.
Sweet snack: Pastries. Like, beautiful asian-style large and fluffy sweet pastries.
Grocery-store buy: Currently it's TJ's chocolate/nut trail mix packages and their chocolate chip dunkers.
Drink: Bubble tea aaaaallll daaaayyy!
Healthy snack: Usually the same as my favorite desserts... some kind of healthier-made pudding-like texture like chocolate tofu pie, peach pie, banana pudding, etc.
-spot to think alone
My blog on here for a while now... my car while I drive so I can yell at no one.

and talk to no one about conversations I want to have... and, occasionally, outdoors somewhere for very ritualistic thinking.
-
person or place you'd visit if given time off & a free trip
@_@ Who wouldn't I visit?! Right now, my parents again because I feel like I could do some real good there... but I'd go see my European friends probably too.

Or maybe do a road trip and visit old online friends.
-book
Alanna.. The whole Lioness Quartet is my favorite series to read in the whole wide world. It is what got me hooked on reading again, and I can never thank that author enough for that.
-
time playing, as a child
All the imagination games I played as a kid with my friends. Most of those friends and I have drifted a part, but we still know each other and see each other sometimes.. and having people willing to play outside all the time with me helped me grow as a person.
-body part
On myself? my hands, they're the most practical of body parts.
On men? Their hands and chests.
I dunno if vocal cords count as body parts in this sense of the term, but I've always had a thing for nice voices on men or women.
-
question/observation about yourself - from someone else
Recent positive: I'm a good teacher. I liked hearing that one.
Recent negative: I'm horribly stubborn. I know that one... It's a hard habit to break.
-weather
Warm outside, clouds rolling in suddenly turning sunshine into very dark, loud thunder, lightning, and getting ready to storm.
Ooorrr... The thick fog here that comes from the warm weather simply cooling off, so it's still warm outside but it's got the sliiiiightest bit of chill in the air and you can barely see through the fog.
In general, I love summer in colder climates like NC, and I love fall in southern climates like Texas. Summer's a safe bet for me.

memory with a family member
Hanging out with my mother. Anything with her, really.. cooking things, trying stupid foods, talking to her on the phone on my drive to work. I love my mom.
More recently, it's been hanging out with my nephew and watching him grow up.
-thing you learned in school that you actually use in 'real life'
Math! also, most of the stuff I learned in nursing school I use.. really, all the things? I think? Keyboarding class? English?
-
question you still seek an answer to
Am I going to make my goals happen?
-quality you take some pride in
I take pride in my ability to power through things. I have ambition, and I am willing to put in work and effort and research most people aren't and wait for others to passively hand them while lamenting they never knew while never trying.
-
way to blow off steam
Driving, writing, or hitting things.
-smell
Leather. definitely my favorite. When my BF if freshly showered.
-
exclamation when you are mad
At work: all the french versions of cuss words.
The good ole F word and all its nuances.
-lie you tell yourself or others
My whole work persona is a lie... Im a nice southern-sounding lady at work. It makes my job easier where people tend to not respect my position either way but do respond to niceties, but it isn't me at all.
-
wonder found in nature
Water is always my favorite part of nature... a gorgeous waterfall, a lake, the ocean... Once, I was in the deep deep ocean, many miles away from any shore ever.. I had never seen so vast and blue of water as I did there. I also took a long long trip down to Havasu falls, and that was worth every single penny.
-tradition you have
Catching up with people on the phone on my drive to work. I know a lot of places ban cell phone use, but man Id fall asleep soooo many times while driving without engaging conversations on long flat stretches of highway.
-
article of clothing or possession
Hmmm... Clothing... I have a fox fur collar I use in the winter that gives a touch of class to what I wear out for fancy events. Saw the thing on a mannequin and made it mine. I'm also a fan of my cowboy boots. They give me comfort.
Possession? Going with my cell phone. It has my life in it.
