So prices keep increasing at a decreased rate than the month before. The car is still speeding up but at a slightly lower rate.

I think FED's goal is to bring inflation rate (CPI) to 2% within 1 or 2 years by increasing FED's interest rate to 4% gradually.

Yeah it really starts to logically fall apart any way you look at which is why it makes it so hard to believe that anyone can actually believe it. Let alone want it to be true so bad, that they can suspend disbelief to enough of an extent to actually manage to manufacture outrage over it. Its what makes it so hard to believe anyone devil's advocating for any of it kinda suspect as to their genuineness because...why would anyone cut of their own nose to spite their face like that?

They are only trying to convey how badly they're being persecuted. Always the victims. So when they turn around and cry about their imaginary white guilt someone will pat them gently and tell they they have nothing to feel guilty about. Except that voting to uphold white supremacy since the beginning but if you post enough Twitter screenshots, no one will care. At least that's what they are hoping for.

I think some people really want attention. I got tired of them complaining about being persecuted once they get attention (despite an obvious pattern of clearly aiming to provoke people), so I put them on ignore. That means I can't read their totally random innocous posts about Illinois being a shithole.

These are the same memes I can get from some of my relatives on Facebook, btw. Omigod i have no idea how to handle it.

Someone told me last week that people are leaving Chicago on droves due to crime (this person also said exactly the same about NYC). I had just seen a video about Illinois and it seems the counties losing population are in the rural areas, specifically the southern tip. As someone who has been to Cairo, more than once, I can tell you that it's very easy to see why and it isn't simply a matter of data from 2020-2021 either.

More people left our state than any other in the 2010s. Part of the problem: Unlike elsewhere, there's been no urban growth to offset rural decline.

I live in a state that is not a border state. We have gladly taken in such people and made them welcome, and we are hardly alone. Of course someone who will take a random retweet as gospel won't know that, unless they happen to live in one of the welcoming cities and towns, and perhaps are expected to put out a little on behalf of the newcomers . . . you know, like Jesus said we should do?
