I did read that there were words like deny, depose, and defend etched on the bullet casings. Typical claim denial tactics.

I think 'karma killing' might be the word to describe this.

Still to early to tell for sure. A cunning super villain would use this tactic as a red herring (but maybe I have been watching too spy series lately).

I feel bad for this woman and family... but $10 says that damn cat will come back in two weeks begging for food...

I certainly hope so. The story needs a happy ending, it's already had its all is lost moment...

I remember being a kid and a guy was asleep in his bed, and a sink hole opened up and swallowed the bedroom. Sink holes are terrifying.

Yeah, I've had similar feelings, reading about stories like down in Mexico (or the sinkhole/mudslide incidents). it's horrific.

Three sunrises.
Three sunsets.
Three days.
Three days before they begin bringing up the need for more security for the executives...
It's kind of like a dystopic commercial.

They (MSM) want you to believe that the CEO's suffering is the only one that matters and that real people aren't suffering at all. It's all made up in a movie (John Q I'm assuming) and lives only in the realm of fantasy.

Kind of makes you wonder what CEO's going to be next.

Yeah, I'm kinda like, "Oh, look, they are finally realizing that with all their power they are really as vulnerable as anyone else."

And then I think about all the schoolkids who die from shootings and/or kids who have to go to school in fear about shootings. Oh look, now you have your first taste of a bit of the fear that people without money or power have to face in society on a daily basis.

It's only the tip of the iceberg, of course, with all the risks the average person faces; but I guess it is a huge reality call to them when they've been blindly soaring above it all without a care in the world.

Did @ceecee or any others see these screen caps? Saw this shared online. They are all running scared.

I can't verify the authenticity but it does read par for the course as to the kind of thing I would expect to see. That second e-mail is nuts, in terms of the lip fealty they are demanding. Damn, talk about self-serving and self-veneration of one's own perceived importance...

What's even worse is that they think if the employees do sign such a pledge (due to fear of negative job consequences) that it would make absolutely any difference. Ironically, the pledge itself invalidates point #4. Any executive team that would issue such a pledge requirement is NOT an exemplar of leadership.

I know how they could get rid of any threats to their lives...just not be greedy corporate bastards who deny people life saving healthcare while they make billions and or millions. Take the fire right out of anyone.

I saw the first but I hadn't seen the second and the second a company demands a "pledge" of any kind is the time people start leveraging the power they have. When they start talking about an inclusive environment (after kneeling to the right wing on DEI) you know they're terrified. Good.

As far as internet weather people go - Ryan Hall is a good one and he raises a lot of money to help victims. Naturally, Reed Timmer and his insane ass is at the top of the list. The man is out there in a F5 tornado in flip flops and gas station sun glasses.

Probably should use the spoiler tags but, nah.

“To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”
