Metaoriphoric definitions of religion is unacceptable in this context. Please "go home, you're drunk."You have a- dare I say- dogmatically religious and narrow definition of religion. God can be your toothbrush, if that's the most important thing to you.
I like how you use a portion of my point to press my buttons more.Explain Joel Osteen and the 52,000 members of his congregation.

I'm so done with the over exaggeration of material things becoming a "god." If you touch/see/use its illogical to be labeled as such.At least for the rough definition of god through copynpaste:
1. the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being.
2. a superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity.
I do understand ancients worshiped stone idols, but these idols were more or less representations of their invisible god. Those that worshipped the stone itself aren't any less delusional. No offense.

Was his congregation created for capitalism though? No.
If anything, there has to fair percentage of captistic congregations devoted to capitalism for your point to make sense.
Prosperity theology (sometimes referred to as the prosperity gospel, the health and wealth gospel, the gospel of success, or seed faith)[A] is a controversial religious belief among some Protestant Christians, who hold that financial blessing and physical well-being are always the will of God for them, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one's material wealth.[1] Prosperity theology views the Bible as a contract between God and humans: if humans have faith in God, he will deliver security and prosperity.[2]
I'm just going to say it, despite (or maybe in spite of) all the haters
Blind capitalism is purely motivated by making money and at its core seeks to exploit people in weaker economic positions. Loans, rent, credit cards, increasing and limited housing costs - these are all things created to help the wealthy make more money by being a drain on the lower classes. It's a parasitic loss and it's saddens me when people staunchly defend capitalism as this great life-giving God. Yeah, it has the ability to increase wealth, but it also has to ability to take advantage of the disadvantaged. If you can't see the value in balancing capitalism with socialism then you need your head examined or you're just another asshole.
COME AT ME CAPITALISTS

Just because the definition lacked an emotionally-charged freak show, doesn't make it small picture.
You don't get the point. It is a small picture because you don't look on consequence based on objective level but pure subjective blind way of thoughts. You care about capitalism because it makes money for you not because you actually think it is a system based on justice.

If you don't care what the definition of capitalism is, seek another thread. Perhaps a discussion about finger painting would be more to your liking.
I learnt what capitalism so It have to be this, kind of thinking.
Down the stairs the baby I threw. Speak English.
