Anti-Authoritarian is not Libertarian

Ron Swanson and the inability to understand satire led to a lot of "Libertarians" in USA.

TV shows have done more to fuck up the political reality than actual politicians ever could. Moderate libs (who are responsible for The West Wing being on for 7 years) definitely think that's for real and would vote for a make believe president - no different than Trumper voting for a billionaire reality tv show star.

They should have watched Veep for a reality check. Everyone on that show was a fucking psychopath.

That was funny. I'm surprised that's not a thing.

Anti-authoritarianism is something that has to be done from time to time to keep things in check.

Libertarianism is ideology of areas that were ex colonies and where social order was never truly consolidated. Therefore power vacuum can lead to fast rise of authoritarianism. Which can equally quickly fade away due to generally unconsolidated society.
