Sometimes I get the feel that people respect introverts more. Think they're deeper or more interesting. I don't like feeling that I'm perceived as having less to contribute or offer to a relationship only because I'm extroverted. I got an inner world too. And I think my outer world is pretty highly developed to boot.
No concrete experience has triggered this thought. And people generally treat me with respect and sweetness, but I do feel like I'm misjudged. I just can't help it.
I totally understand it though. I mean, with introversion comes an air of mystery. But I'd argue that there's mystery in everyone. There are things to be discovered, things that lie deep within me. That people take less interest in perhaps because of the wealth of stuff that I do put out there. Makes a lot of sense. But it can be frustrating.
