I would go for a girl with her own talents, interests, and dreams. Someone who stands on her own two feet and wants me, rather than needs me. Someone to watch my back while I do the same for her. Someone who shows me something new every day from "her world", and challenges me be a better person. There would need to be a "you and me against the world" sense to our relationship, not unlike what I have now with my INTP.

Taking the initial question at face value, I think I'd go for an ENTP female if I myself were an INTJ guy. The Ne would provide a stream of intelligent ideas and their Ti and Fe are quite pleasant but different enough from me that I'd feel cared for without having my toes stepped on.

However if it were getting serious and thinking of marriage and kids and setting up a home together, I'd check her out for her spending habits, since she would be the one who made the day to day choices on how to spend my hard earned money.

I'd also want to check out her values and how grounded in them she was, and her faith and beliefs, because of the importance of singing from a consistent hymn sheet on this when raising kids.

And I'd want her to have a working knowledge of my field of work, ideally a degree in a similar field. so that we could talk about our jobs from a common understanding.
