Hello Fi users! Recently a fellow Fi user described Fi empathy as the act of imagining what he would feel if he stood in the shoes of others.
Does this sound right to you?
If so, it would follow that in situations where it has direct contact with others, Fi empathy would be somewhat less accurate than Fe since it is indirect. Otoh, Fi might be more accurate in impersonal situations--like tragic news events--where it can use its imagination to divine what distant victims might feel.
