Nigel Farage overshadows Britain’s big Brexit reset

United Kingdom — 2024 election results

However when you take a look at the polling average that is just below the results it is evident that he is knocking on the doors of both Labor and Conservatives. He is just 2 points behind Conservatives and 3 behind Labor (and he has evident upward trend). What means that in month or two he could be in the lead. What in a way would be a complete system shock just on it's own.

Austria — 2024 general election

Far right came first in the Austrian elections a few months ago. However mainstream parties decided that they will make coalition government without the far right. Since they can make majority that works without them. The only problem is that there is a plot twist at the end of the story. Which is that the far right started surging after these events and that is starting to turn into considerable lead. Percentage wise this is about the double as the numbers in Germany (where the situation is seen as "alarming")

At this point I am willing to bet that my green/progressive Mayor is toast. Especially since the leader of Russia friendly socialist left had said that he needs to be removed in the next elections and that the left should take back the city. Plus on the other hand the right wing coalition also has increasingly large ambitions and infrastructure in these parts. What means that progressives could suffer a sandwich and blow from which they wouldn't recover. Especially since money could become serious problem. In central Europe liberalism is evaporating pretty much everywhere you look at. Since mess in Ukraine creates WW3 atmosphere and desire to have everything planned out in strict fashion.
