Poor Argentina, they have dug themselves such a deep hole they are going to have a hard time getting out. From what I have seen, they keep swinging from left to right searching for a magic solution that will get their economy on track. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist.

That right wing crackpot looks dangerous though. He could really muck things up with extreme policies. I'm not familiar enough with Argentina's political systems to know if there are checks and balances to keep him from running amok if he becomes president.

They should probably elect the center right party, then give them at least a decade to try and fix the economy. I suspect they will swing right next election, but then complain about austerity and how their run away inflation doesn't disappear over night, and swing back left the next election. The left will then reverse any economic gains the right manages, and everything will go back to where it is now (and has been for quite some time).
