Paint is the medium of painting, as clothes are the medium of fashion, and cars are the medium of moving. And sound is the medium of music and the telephone.
The internet is simply a calculator connected to the telephone. And the telephone is the most used medium of business and our private lives. The telephone is ubiquitous, the telephone is everywhere, and so the telephone is invisible.
So the purpose of telephone art is to make the telephone visible in the same way it is the purpose of therapy to make the unconscious, conscious.
And just as the book makes use of words, sentences, paragraphs, chapters, books and libraries of books, all catalogued in hierarchies, the telephone makes use of conversation and resonance.
So the telephone artist makes use of conversation and resonance just as the painter uses paint.
So I am assembling an international team of telephone artists to take our art to the world.
