Am I an ESFP?

One of my friend introduced me to it haha. He was predicting my personality and told me that I could be an ESFP.

But he wasn't sure so he told me to make a topic and see if anyone can provide me the help in recognising my type personality type haha.

So, you have never taken the test? Not that I would recommended any online MBTI tests, most of them are notoriously bad.

Right... I have that friend which I have mentioned above, but I don't think he is any how an expert. He is interested in this field but much on a surface level only.

My guess is he suggested ESFP based on type descriptions, some of which rely heavily on stereotypes and behavioral patterns rather then focusing on the cognitive processes.

I did, and most of them ended with ENFJ, ENFP, or some random MBTI. But maybe I should give it a try again, the last I did was... 2 years ago?

Your top three were my top three guesses about your enneagram lol and you got SO instinctual variant too.
Enneagram 2 is strongly correlated with extraverted feeling. It’s most common type for ESFJs and ENFJs, then ISFJs and a small % of INFJs too. There are some ESFPs type 2, the most common type for them is 7 though. You could take the MBTI test again, but I really don't know any good ones online to recommend.

Hmm... The only one I can relate to; but not 100%, is Shane Dawson.

I can relate to his dramaticnsss, his ability to sympathize, his ability to crack jokes and the emotional side of him.

But of course values and perspective on things is different.

You’ve mentioned your ability to sympathize, both Fe and Fi users can both sympathize and empathize with others, however sympathy is mostly correlated with Fe, empathy with Fi.

Yeah, I have no idea who that is. You could ask your friends who do you remind them of and why.
