You probably use Ne fine... Seems like Ti and Si are a weird combination for Ne, so.... DIFFERENT or something... like if you have Fi like myself, the Fi can kind of validate a lot of the stuff easily and let the Ne go ahead and do it's thing.. I feel like Ti and Si would be a constant like- like one of those game shows that buzzes loudly when someone gets something wrong. like BRRRRRRRP! NO! Try again!!! So it may feel like you're not using it when really you are using it in an efficient way.... The way that actually checks it well and can tell if it's going in the right direction with things.
But I guess it depends on your definition of "effective" and what you are aiming for.

This is what I have encountered as the big difference between me and my NTP friends. Even my ENTP friends have a breaking point with Ne where they go, ok... this no longer makes sense... and that's about the point where I am really just now getting started.
Thanks; I did read it before you posted that but didn't try out any of the "games" yet. ^^
If you're an intp you use ne constantly... You are just having a difficult time recognizing right?
Just like I'm having a hard time recognizing when I use Ti.

Open your mind. Really try to push the envelope of what you think is possible. Let all judgements and fears holding back possibilities go away. Put yourself in situations that force you to expand your mind. Try new things. Don't reject ANYTHING. Put yourself outside your comfort zone.
It really seems like standalone Ne just jumps outside the envelope without ever really coming to terms with the envelope.

I guess... If you're an entp
I can't tell yet.
