I'm curious about how characters from my book fit into types. I've gone through them before, but I'd like a bit of insight from others. I will start off with the ones who are the most developed as of right now, and perhaps add more later.
Character A
-is male
-has feminine behaviours and mannerisms, and can be very self-critical of them
-clumsy
-lacks self-confidence
-quiet; generally keeps to self
-disorganized
-loves beauty; tries to be surrounded in it
-frail
-very rarely initiates conversations
-blushes easily
-submissive, usually goes with what others say; pushover
-at his very worst (times of extreme stress): judgemental of others, sees others as pieces on a chess board
-does not mind routine
-despite being disorganized, dislikes messiness and finds being in messy surroundings stressful
-needs to be in "perfect" surroundings to recharge
-fond of literature, reading; loves poetry
Character B
-is female
-is very fashionable without even trying
-experiments; goes with the flow of things
-appears confident
-generally quiet, but does initiate conversation when necessary
-constantly trying to reinvent herself
-sexually experimental; considered promiscuous
-sexually experiments to find connection
-constantly taking in information from around her
-tries living life day-by-day
-interested in the performing arts, specifically acting
-strongly dislikes authority; rebellious towards parents
-despite often speaking in figurative speech, is a realist
-very fond of being in high places (such as the roof of tall buildings)
-at her very worst (times of extreme stress): sees herself as above others, strong trust issues, no sense of danger, ignores conscience
Character C
-is female
-eccentric
-is openly affectionate with the people she cares about; tightly hugs friend in public, gives long kisses to significant other in public...
-can be seen as a "cheerleader"; bubbly and enthusiastic towards people she cares about
-constantly disorganized
-known to be a tacky dresser
-very interested in music and is a talented guitarist and songwriter
-can not stand people she cares about being hurt by others; she may impulsively throw a strong, violent punch if she thinks someone will or has hurt someone she cares about
-some would say she has a split personality of sorts: 1. cute, bubbly, sweet, innocent, calm; 2. (upon any threat by someone else to someone she cares about) aggressive, full of rage, unpredictable, frightening, impulsive
-very interested in human rights issues
-hates being bored, always wants something going on
-dreams of being a music teacher
-loves children; easily relates to children
-hates being alone
Character D
-is male
-very quiet; spends most of his time in his very rich and vivid internal world
-has a strong sixth sense: "sees" dreams, sees spirits, able to telepathically implant images/feelings/dreams into people's minds
-is able to get very close to people
-aspires to be a god and transform the world into a beautiful and balanced place
-constantly taking on different personas, depending on who he is with
-described as "beautiful, yet almost invisible"
-is constantly searching for deeper meaning in his surroundings
-constantly taking in detailed information from his environment and analyzing it to find its emotional, spiritual, and logical meaning
-tends only to interact with others if he sees them as a step he must take or is experimenting
-does feel sympathy afterwards for the people he uses
-is very involved in reading (especially non-fiction involving philosophy, religion, spirituality, psychology, and the paranormal)
