When you'll be on the other side of the bullet, maybe you'll understand. When you'll see for real what kind of damage they can do to a human body, maybe you'll begin to think with your heads instead of your balls...
Hrm, never seen that before, sorry. Or I would have said something about it earlier already. =/
To be very honest, I have been on "the other side" already. Not the greatest feeling, I give you that. But personally I don't see me "thinking with my balls" anyways.
For me those are tools to protect people. When someone is doing...stuff to your beloved and you know exactly that you are not gonna make it, because physically he is much stronger than you are. You have to think and act very quick, or your beloved will get seriously hurt. The only chance you and your beloved have is that that guy gets winged into a foot or arm. If defending and saving another person from serious, real danger makes me a pervert, I am very guilty I guess. I do that whenever there is need for it. With or without tools. It's not that I go around with stuff and randomly assault people, sure not. But what should I do, in such a situation? Step up to the guy, trying to hit him while he ends my beloveds life? Would you?
I am very sorry for your bad memories linked to guns. Tho...don't we all have some sort of bad memories like that, somehow involving death, destruction, pain and chaos?
Sure, life would be much "better" without all those things. But there are fucked people out there, so in the end the question is...your and your families life or his. .___.
I seriously don't think people who actually save people should be put into the "pervert drawer". I mean it's not that they just randomly aim at some important parts. They actually have rules. Arms and legs, nothing else. For everything else you get in trouble.
And people who actually only aim at paper-targets aren't pervs anyways.
Heh, but maybe I am just too "simple".
