Lithuania is understandably concerned about Prigozhin and his Wagner troops moving in next door.

Nothing will really happen in Lithuania since that is a NATO country. While Russians are in problems over their heads even as it is.
Well, this also looks like a long term concern. So far studies have shown that NATO reaction times are too slow. Lithuania has now asked Germany to permanently station troops there by 2026.

But that doesn't matter too much since attacking Lithuania means open war with the entire west. Even if they manage to take the country in a few weeks ... then what ? They will still be in a war with the whole west. I fully understand why all of this is stressful to Lithuania but Russia just isn't in the position to do ww3. Something that will not change anytime soon. What we saw over the weekend is that they have problems controlling even their own cities once things go off the rail.

It's called a sequel for a reason Jerry. If it were innovative it would be burned at the stake for witchcraft. There's a reason people keep trying to reinvent the wheel. How many cave people brought up the utility of rounded rocks before one wasnt just crushed by one. Seven. There were Seven. After that everyone pretty much agreed they were good enough for at least one thing. And War...War Never changes. If you think this is nuts, wait till the reboot. It'll blow you away.

This entire thing was idiotic. Either go all the way or not at all. I have no moral issue with this - they can destroy each other for all I care but now the Wagner guy is getting a deluxe apartment in the sky with a big window to get thrown through.

At face value I fully agree with you.
However for me this wasn't a real coup. This is was intimidation so that the establishment wakes up to all disasters and the fact that they are loosing plenty of men every day. In a way you can even consider this to be a form of protest. If this was a genuine coup Wagner boss wouldn't be alive at this point.

Greece’s conservatives win election majority to secure second term
As expected.

Romania — National parliament voting intention
"Patriotic party" passed next to the center right and now they are the second most popular party in the country.

Latvia — National parliament voting intention

Latvia has made big changes in who are popular parties these days, and the top six are:

1. Center right
2. Latvia first
3. Nationalistic rural-farming party
4. Progressives
5. National conservatives
6. National conservatives

Slovenia — National parliament voting intention

It is getting quite tight between GS and SDS.
The SDS leader was one of the first ones to congratulate Trump on his victory in 2020. Plus he is personal friend with Orban.

Netherlands — National parliament voting intention

The anti-system BBB is maintaining their evident lead after the explosion in support. What means they are here to stay.

.......

The next elections for EU parliament will be unseen show.

A lot of this feels like a rather interesting take on a political stunt, much of this seems to have been an object lesson. This feels like a conversation had over a giant chessboard. This was a discussion of words and actions. Much pomp but over what circumstance?

The circumstance is that they are slowly but surely losing the war in Ukraine. As well as stability of their own country.

Therefore now we entered the phase where they are starting to turn on each other.

This also appears to be the opinion of most national security people.
