Blatant discrimination: your favorite and least favorite MBTI types of mate

I have a history of clashing with people who type as ISFP, but I don't have a favorite type. I just either like individuals or I don't. Idk. I guess I have an unintentional track record of finding myself into INTJs? That means so many different things to people though, that I really can't see the logic in counting that as a collective thing. In other words, if there is no firmly collective definition of what makes someone an INTJ, then why am I counting it as something when there is a pattern of there being several INTJs?

But I do not really care what your type is when I judge whether or not I like you. It more depends on your character.

I’m also biased towards INFJs in the competency triad of the enneagram (INFJ 1s, 3s, and 5s). I can’t really relate to INFJs that are not a competency core type (2,4,6, and 9). I would get along with an INFJ 1 (shared moralism and work ethic), INFJ 3s (shared achievement-orientation), and INFJ 5s (shared love for knowledge). INFJ 4s I cannot relate to at all. 4s just focus too much on their emotions and not enough on tasks.

I am a 4w5, but being a Ti dom makes it very difficult for me to relate to 4s of the F variety (as well). Which is kinda interesting. I've really been thinking about what makes me different from feeling types in our expression of 4. This also has to do with why people don't think I am 4 at first too.

I strongly relate to 5, 1, and 3s as well.

I don't know that I have a least favorite, since I don't really go around typing the people I'm around everyday. But I'm a magnet for ENFP's apparently, somehow my closest friends always end up being ENFPs.

On a very biased note, I'm not fully sure of my ex's type. He probably used Te the most, and while we hit it off at first, things went downhill quickly. (I was almost always mad at him, lol.)

-I've liked SFPs the most so far. I've moved a lot, and if I ended up getting along with people in a new place, they were usually SFPs.
I like the physicality. Fi expressed through Se creativity is just plain interesting to observe, and many seemed like passionate people. Some are too rash and immature, but I appreciate that most haven't pressured me to filter myself (unless they were social variants). Funny how the OP said Fi doms seem dopey and floppy, because most of the ISFPs I have met seemed sharp and intense, as well as sincere. I enjoy that they haven't been uptight people. Free-spirited and grounded.

-I don't have much to say about NFPs. I think that we could have satisfying conversations. They seem principled and sincere, but I admit that a few have left a bad taste in my mouth because of the nonsensical values they held onto so stubbornly and the egocentrism oozing out of every pore. They can also really impress me with their depth. Need more data.
I really like the xxFPs overall. They usually catch my eye because many are individualistic and relate to people in a way that draws me in.

-ISFJs are pretty easy to talk to. They make good company to indulge in sensory pleasures with, and we tend to be compatible in the humor department. I haven't met one with absolutely horrible Ne yet. The ISTJs have been worse in that department, but that doesn't mean that they were bad company. They're alright, but sometimes the sexual last ones turn me off too much because they remind of ants. They're interesting when they have well-developed Fi.

-INTJs, like the ISTJs, are more interesting to me when they have a well-developed tertiary function. Unusual but funny senses of humor. Good conversation partners ime. Sometimes we are both too introverted and we both fall off the face of the planet. Intriguing

-I've liked a few ExTJs. The ENTJs were good conversationalists and had a drive I respected. Sometimes they can state something and be so certain that they are right while they are completely wrong, which can irritate me more than it should. The ENTJs I've liked were also 3s. Love a healthy 3.

-Te-Ne humor is very entertaining to me. I like that ESTJs state exactly what is on their mind. This can also be annoying because sometimes they don't refine their thoughts enough for my taste. Another positive thing to say is that the ones I like are very loyal and reliable. The shitty ones (and there have been many) were way too bossy, close-minded, unfair, egocentric, arrogant, and lazy but nitpicked on everyone around them. Total hypocrites. I can deal with most of them, but my experiences have been very mixed.

-There are some ESTPs I have been extremely fond of because of how realistic, levelheaded, and charismatic they were. Some did live up to the stereotype of being immature blockheads, but most were just chill company. Probably because most of them were healthy 7s and 9s. The so/sps have been too in my face in social environments. The so/sxs have been pretty cool though.

-Not much to say about INTPs. Seem like they would be the type to pick apart a strange movie that no one else will watch with me.

I'm not usually drawn to T types for romance, but who knows.

Least liked:
-I have seriously not cared about most xxTPs Ti-ing out of their asses to me. ESTPs and INTPs make up a good chunk of the exceptions for me, but most of the ENTPs and ISTPs I've met/observed can fucking die in a fire. Throw some of those extremely immature and pointlessly spiteful INTJs into the pit too.

-Judgmental, dismissive, egocentric, and self-righteous Fi users.

-xNxJs with repulsive and diseased ideals make me appreciate that life is finite. They need to die as quickly as possible. I can't believe some of the crazy ideas I've heard from people of these types.

-I can't relax around most ESFJs because they enforce too many absurd social rules. I'm tired of dealing with the demeanor/manners police. They have been a nightmare to reason with and tend to target me in social situations. I think it's more accurate to say that I have a love/hate relationship with them. Conversation can go from stimulating and easy to torturous in a small frame of time.

-Whatever type of man sits on his dick all day playing video games

Also, sometimes I just can't get into the humor of people on the opposite perceiving axis, or they can't get into mine. It's tragic when I see an xNxP/xSxJ making Ne jokes with an xSxP/xNxJ and they give a confused face along with "Umm..what??"
Se doms can be really funny at times. Idk, it's a hit or miss with these types in this department.

Enneagram because why not
-I can be angsty and moody sometimes lol, but unhealthy 4s are too dramatic and irrational for me. I appreciate the healthy ones for how insightful, accepting, and emotionally honest they are though. Can't say that my own 4 wing isn't fun even when it causes me to cringe.

-9s can be easy to get along with, but passive-aggression is infuriating. I've cut people off for that shit because I've dealt with it enough. The unhealthy 9s in my family have caused too many problems, and they never saw their part in the conflicts. Hate when they bait you into conflict instead of just being upfront.

-No to 2s and 8s that go into neanderthal mode way too easily. Go play king of the mountain somewhere else.

-I'm very fond of some 3s and 6s. I notice that we get along irl (their variants are important to me though. IVs are important to me period).

I don't have the patience for extremely fickle Sx firsts or social variants who bother me about etiquette, are overly concerned with status, or who don't treat people as individuals.

I can pretty much think of one example from each type that I'm fond of, one I want to run over with a truck, and one who goes against the stereotypes or trends I've noticed amongst the people of their type so far. So of course my opinions are shaped by my own bias, personal experiences, and understanding of the types so far. I'll always treat someone as an individual at the end of the day. Interactions are more interesting that way, and I don't want to miss a good opportunity because of silly prejudices. I'm trying to say "Not all XXXXs are like this" in this post even though the point of the thread is to blatantly discriminate lol I just can't resist trying to include the exceptions.

ISTJ: Their tertiary Fi makes them very interesting, brooding characters. When they embrace their Ne, they're actually very witty and funny.

ESTJ: Like a protective big sibling figure. Has a no-nonsense attitude that I can appreciate, wants to get stuff done. Diligent, passionate, and surprisingly spontaneous.

ENTP: They really are trolls. They have that Ti-ish blunt wit, but their Fe makes them reel it in and they have a warm and friendly vibe. Their Ne makes them fun to talk about ideas with, and having Si in their stack also gives them a grounded feel.

Least favorites:

INTJ: I just feel awkward talking to these guys. I like deep talks, but they want me to elaborate on everything I say and it's like did I see say something wrong?

ISFP: They sound good from description, sensual artistic creatures. But I think the combo of Fi and lack of Ne that makes them seem so....set in their ways. They're just hard to get through to.

ESTP: I've never gotten along with these guys. I think it's the Fi polr(which ENTPs have too, but Ne makes up for it), coupled with the Ses' impulsiveness.

ENFP: This one's weird, cause ENFP men come off as pure but with a lot of ENFP women their Ne and Te makes them seem rather in-your-face.


Types like ENFJ and INFJ I'm more neutral about, but I've noticed that I prefer people who share the same perceiving axis as me. Like Ne users, I like talking about ideas with them better than Ni users because we bounce ideas off each other and the conversation flows better. When I do it with Ni users, it feels more drawn out and awkward. I don't really have a preference between Fe/Fi and Te/Ti, although I do tend to click with thinking types better.

You're an intense one, but I still like you better than the other ones I've met, so you're an exception. There was one at work that I liked at first, and I remember this time where I was asking a question about a label and then she just pulled it of and stuck it on me and I felt so awkward...I could have laughed if we were friends, but we weren't so I just stood there for awhile. They're just more extroverted versions of me so I figured we'd get along, but nah. They're hyper nerdy girls, and I'm the nervous laughter.

INFJs, INTJs, and ISFJs are people with whom I usually build friendships; we understand each other easily. For me, there's nobody more attractive than calm, logical people, who are curious, philosophical and respect others' opinions, and I've met such people exactly among those types.
There are no particular types I would dislike; I do, however, feel antipathy towards people who persistently try to influence one's mood (like the ones who will tell you to relax or smile when you don't feel like it), are overly emotional or inconsistent. There are also types I find intriguing but am kinda afraid of: INTP, INFP, ESTP, ENTP and ENFP (seems to be quite a long list, lol). They always can tell something interesting to think about & are creative, but we usually just don't get along.
(Not yet sure of my type. It feels like as a child I used to be an ESFJ, who, however, grew into some intuitive introvert)

Reading this thread, It is the reason why I find the Dating market to be usualy filled with very shallow people.
