Oh, and for anybody wondering, I've become lukewarm on Tulsi after that whole "present" thing. I have no idea what was up with that. I'll probably just go with Bernie again.

Something is not right with that chick.
It appears she thinks inviting foreign interference in US elections is fine. Strange stance for a Democrat running for president to take. But perhaps she can switch parties: Republicans are totally fine with that stuff.

I suspect she's just a clone meant to undermine the Resistance grown in a chem vat by Emperor Palpatine -- I mean, Pal-Putin-e.

All that aside, I'm not really sure why she has any support for a presidential bid. All I ever hear is that they like her and they find her fascinating. That's not an answer.

She's missed a shitload of votes in the House since she's been in Congress and even though she's a veteran, she doesn't get the veteran backing in the way Tammi Duckworth does or even Mikie Sherrill. She's also a Hindu but doesn't seem to reach out for their votes. She is a conservative and that's fine but she should become a Republican - she would have more support and way more campaign funding if she did. And she is leaving congress to "focus on running for president". But I will bet she will look to run for Senate either in 2022 or 2024. I can see her trying for Brian Schatz's seat - he was appointed, not elected - in 2012.

She is very good-looking. That, combined with being 'likable' and 'fascinating', should be enough to win as a Republican. She can also return to opposing gay marriage if her conservative image is in need of refurbishment in Fox world.

Oh I agree. That's all she needs to be as a Republican. I'm surprised she doesn't have a show of some kind on Fox, Newsmax or OAN right now.

If a woman doesn't have a sharp brain, she's not getting my vote. I don't find her fascinating or likable at all. Frankly, I sense a backstabbing bitch inside of her.

I'll concede that I was wrong about her, and you were probably right. Whoops.

Silly question: why in western countries left wing candidates trend to be so "contained" in presentation ?

I am watching the current candidates for my local presidential elections and the left guy is pretty obvious e8 with blunt statements and "I don't really give a fuck about xy" attitude. So the right wingers are afraid since he is doing better than anticipated and they are ideologically intimidated. Plus they claim that he has no path to victory because ..... (this should all sound familiar).

I mean by doing this the western left is kinda leaving all "straight shooting voters" to the right ... and they are people likely to vote.
