I'll get straight to the point - i have no idea what my type could be. I've thought myself being INTP for quite some time but then it doesn't really click with me. It's just that i cannot stick with one type and then i start thinking whenever i might be hiding something from myself which could end up changing my type. So with that intention, I'm humbly asking your help in this wacky adventure.

1) What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?

It doesn't stick with me. It's hard for me to accept that I'm one type or another without having second thoughts.

2) What do you yearn for in life? Why?

Something i could put effort into despite getting moody and dropping everything. I want to have direction in my life because now i feel like aimless boat in sea - i sail where wind blows. It would give me satisfaction in my life. I'd also want to have freedom to pursue whatever i want without having much restrictions or regulations.

3) Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.

There was one time where i didn't feel anxiety and restriction and i could just interact with new people and be myself. It felt good because i didn't need to put up a social "mask" in order to be accepted.

4) What makes you feel inferior?

Not having enough interesting experience and being interesting in general. I see myself as very dull and boring person despite my effort to change it. I feel like others can see past my disguise. I'm hard on myself because i don't have much ambition and focus in life in general. It seems like i just wander from one instant gratification to another without any deeper meaning. I'm envious of people who know what they want from life at young age or have some sort of career plan. I'd like to try something but i don't know what is because nothing interests me - I'm either 0% or 100% when it comes to activities. Also i feel inferior when i compare myself to other successful people.

5) What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)

Interesting/not-interesting and stressful/not-stressful double axis for the most part.

6) When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?

When working on project - i want absolute clarity and efficiency. I cannot stand people who don't what they want or at loss how to describe it. I can be really harsh and domineering if others are slacking off according to me.

7) Describe a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?

It was just guys night out - getting drunk, doing pranks on each other and bantering, nothing really special. I don't have exact memory of it except couple of moments and overall feeling of fun time.

8) When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you?

Having someone more knowledgeable by my side and going by instructions in order to do it efficiently and accurately.

9) How organized do you think of yourself as?

I don't see myself as an organized person. My room is usually a mess and i don't really enjoy organizing stuff for it's sake. House choirs are absolute bore to me.

10) How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?

I judge new ideas from the stance whenever they make sense or not. If new idea makes sense, i re-evaluate my current information and add the new one to existing one.

11) You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself?

I don't like harmony if it crushes individual. Sometimes you need to break the harmony in order to fight for yourself.

12) Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions?

I think before speaking (or atleast some guidelines) when I'm at work, on other time i just speak my mind whenever i want. Group discussions are most playful and interesting but one-on-one are more deep ones so i pick group ones for the majority of time.

13) Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?

I jump right into actions whenever situation doesn't involve any intimacy or dating (on those i prone to be quite careful). Action is good but action without any after-thought is pointless.

14) It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do?

Friends. I can find show on the internet - VHS times are over :D

15) How do you act when you're stressed out?

Irritable and vocal about it to the point that even smallest things can drive me crazy. There's the other stressful side when i become more distant, melancholic and reflective - it feels like I'm stopping in the inside.

16) What makes you dislike the personalities of some people?

I don't really like obviously fake people. I generally use my gut to try and feel the vibe about that person and then i come to conclusion whenever i like or dislike.

17) Is there anything you really like talking about with other people?

It really, really depends on the situation and my mood but i generally like to talk about them and their experience. I can talk about a lot of things so i don't have one specific area.

18) What kind of things do you pay the least attention to in your life?

Romance and dating. I don't really get those things and avoid them in general.

19) How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? ? What would your friends never say about your personality?

Honestly, i have no idea how they perceive me because i think that i don't leave lasting impression on anyone. I think that others read me like open book and i easily convey what i feel at that moment.

20) You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?

Maybe go to the city and meet friends then have some activities with them. Sorry i don't really know because i don't think about that stuff like my ideal day or what would i do if X.

Adding complimentary poll just in case someone wouldn't want to type the possible type.

Can you take the typology central Jung test on the front page and post a link to the results here?

ESFP actually looks right to me. You come out as an extravert (though not a huge preference). You are clearly sensing and clearly have a strong preference for Fi. So that leaves either ESFP or ISFP. So in my opinion, you would have to be one of those two types.

What's the main difference between more outgoing ISFP and a bit anxious ESFP? I do realize that i might be non stereotypical ESFP

It seems that i see more similarities with ESFP than ISFP especially the part - "Determined to uncover the secret meaning that has been deliberately withheld from him (which is almost invariably perceived as a personal attack), the ESFP struggling with inferior Ni may seize onto strange and improbable accusations and implications, convinced that he must ignore the world of physical reality in which he most naturally thrives in order to see any genuine significance in it." I have this obsession that my problems lie deep in the psyche, so i've picked up a ton of psych books and i'm even attending therapy. On the other hand i have a question - can Se-Ni axis be so strong that it overwhelms Fi and Te?

Do i seem like ESFP for you (given that you're ESFP)?

Well, I can certainly see it, but like in the end you'll have to decide for yourself, but like I'm happy to help if I can ^_^

What areas of ESFP resonate with you vs what doesnt?

I too can see ESFP. Your Dom Se is obvious you aren't the typical E7 Se Dom so it's more muted than sterotypicaly. Now I see your obvious aux Fi with all that self searching and focusing on your own harmony over outer harmony. Tert Te shows mostly in your bursts of taking control and harshness and your inferior Ni shows in your bursts of this sort of questioning apathy you seem to show under stress. I'd say for tritype 3w4 9w8 6w5 Sp/So.

The stereotype itself doesnt really click with me. I can be obnoxious but i'm more of a collected and thoughtful person (at times and even then it really depends on mood). I very much resonate with inferior Ni description - doubting everything is by far one of the biggest vice of me. I can also put a lot of effort in appearance just for other people to notice me and then get sad if no one notices. I also require constant stimulation whenever it's good or bad like smoking or over-eating.

I don't like the stereotypes either, I tried to not be ESFP for a long time on account of them.As far as the other stuff I can resonate with it a lot too. I often feel that my Se/Ni like to pull the if I didnt have you game way more often than is good for me, but such is life I reckon.

Huh, i've thought myself as INTJ for a quite long time. I guess that's a mix-up between Se-Ni. However upon close inspection i've come to realize that no way i'm INTJ and only pretended to be such. Any idea how Fi-Te appears in ESFP?

I did the same when I joined forum I've come to the realization I was just in a really bad ni grip and living in my shadow functions.

Fi/Te Different ways, I reckon, like my fi and your fi probably look different, but like here's a fun video that breaks down some functions imo pretty well:
