From my perspective, I don't always show my emotions to everyone but I'm always really open about anything to someone I'm even remotely romantically involved in. Usually I have a fear it will drive them away. But you ENFJs, wow, you just take me as I come. That is really something. I think we really like you guys, but as soon as we get on with some time consuming projects, you don't get enough attention. Am I right or am I right?
But if someone was to say I'm the whole package, it would drive me away a bit. This has happened too soon and I wasn't into getting on that white unicorn with my full body armor. I get all sweaty and stuff.
From my experience, what you said has been true to type. I've also experienced the 'fear of emotions driving people away' from my ENTP. He's offhandedly mentioned the 'damaged goods' thing, which I quickly countered with a you've been dented in all the right places so that you fit perfectly with me, all humans are damaged, shut up, shhhh, let me love you, shhhh, you are perfect for me, let me looooveeee yooouuuuuu.
The time consuming projects can be difficult, but I'm an extrovert that is super fond of alone time, so it doesn't bother me all that much. As long as he gives me attention when he's around, I'm good.
Hahaha... that is a good analogy. Pshhh, and ENFJ wouldn't say that to their faces too early, anyway. We're super subtle with that stuff... enough to drive ya'll crazy.
