So people claim you're a core 9, but also claim you're melancholic and unapproachable? Am I correct in assuming the latter or is this restricted to your perception of yourself?

I'm more friendly on the forum than I am in real life. 9 may be a positive outlook type, but I really don't think you have to be energetic and extroverted to be a 9. The people who think I'm a 9 also admit that I'm pretty melancholic, but they also see the side of me that's more friendly because we're on a forum and I feel much more comfortable here than I am in real life. I have resting bitchface and like to be left alone but I'm always friendly when someone approaches me... I just want them to go away and leave me alone underneath.

Again though, I don't know if she's a 9. I just don't think 9s have to be approachable necessarily.

Interesting! Why 4 for my sister? That's not something I'd considered before. Always assumed she had a 2 fix or something.
