Ahhhh, good tip (grins)!

I hear you. I sometimes will start to regale my friends with stories about my pet, in return when they are waxing poetic about their kids. Then I am quickly reminded (by their facial expressions) that parent's don't love having their smart, funny children equated with smart, funny animals (laughs).

Oh Montreal. Stares off dreamily with stomach rumbling. Oh if you remember the name let me know! That is where my family lives. If you don't...I will just have to try them one by one I suppose. Dirty job but someone's gotta do it :p
I think if people are gonna fawn over their children unnecessarily, we should be allowed to also do so over our pets.

Montreal is amazing! God I love that place!

Ahhh I can't think of what it is, but if you're in the area, La Poutine is also amazing. I think it's an Alberta thing.

-Superhero Power: Super strength. At first notice, super strength sounds like a boring power, but it isn't to me, because of what you can do with it. Superheroes with super strength, such as Aquaman, not only can lift up ocean liners with minimal effort, but can expel themselves hundreds of feet into the air with their legs and have increased speed. They can perform amazing acrobatics and attack their enemies with devastating power. If you ever read the New 52 Aquaman comics, you will see what I am writing about in full detail.

-Technology That's Now obsolete: I still love physical media like DVDs, Blu-Rays, etc. Especially physical copies for video games, I miss when PC games had a more prevalent boxed copy industry as my internet speed isn't the fastest in the world and it can take me hours to download a new game that has come out.

-Human Invention: Video Games!

-Place To Be Kissed: For a physical location, I'd say anywhere my partner and I can be private, so only I can enjoy her sweet kisses.

-Pizza Toppings: I can write an entire essay on pizzas, but I won't. My favorite toppings are the typical "supreme" or "combination" pizzas you can get at pizza parlors. Specifically, they are pepperoni, black olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, extra cheese, salami, ham, sausage, and onions.

-Person Who Makes You Laugh: My brother makes me laugh with his really weird, odd jokes.

Time of the Day to Wake Up: Generally I wake up around 10-11 am. Yeah, I sleep in a lot.

-Snack: Another question I can write an essay about. Generally it's beef jerky, popcorn, potato chips, or leftovers. I don't snack anymore because it made me fat and I'm eating better now so I don't snack hardly at all anymore.

-Spot to Think Alone: Usually my room, sitting on my computer chair.

-Place to Visit with time off: I'd love to visit San Francisco again and really get into the city with my brothers and friends.

-Book: Damnit, there's a couple I like, a lot of Stephen Books I read in high school are really good, but I'm going to say "The Hobbit." One of my favorite fantasy adventures of all time.

-Time playing as a Child: I played a lot of video games then... I still do now.

-Body Part: I can be cheesy and say my heart, but I know all my emotions and thoughts come from my brain, so I'll say that. I live in my imagination a lot, so without my brain, I am nothing!

-Question or Observation from Someone Else: "Why are you so quiet?" I get that in real life and video games I play.

-Weather: Sunny skies really bring out my happy mood, although grey rainy skies make me feel wonderfully melancholic.

-Memory with a Family Member: It's really multiple memories of me hanging out with my brothers, really good times. Although if I had to say a specific memory, it was helping my mom make tortillas as a kid.

-Things You Learned in School You Use in 'Real Life': Reading and writing. The only things I'm half-way good at really.

-Question You Still Seek an Answer to: "What am I supposed to do with my life?"

-Quality You Take Some Pride in: My amazing ability to be talented at procrastination.

-Way to Blow Off Steam: If I'm feeling bad or pissed, I usually sulk and listen to music.

-Wonder Found in Nature: Tornadoes have always fascinated me, to the point I have recurring dreams about them.

-Tradition You Have: Umm, don't really have any except going to the comic book store to pick up my comics once a month.

-Article of Clothing or possession: I never go anywhere without my Nintendo 3DS.

-Lie you tell yourself: That I don't need love or anyone, I am perfectly fine with being a loner and actually love it. This isn't true at all and I constantly fantasize meeting new friends and lovers.

-Exclamation you say when mad: "Fuck!" Pretty simple.

My favourite...

Superpower: Sometimes, I just feel like stopping time. The technicalities of the whole power aside, it would be nice if I could just put things on pause for a little while. Perhaps for contemplation's sake, or something else.

Obsolete technology: I suppose in a world full of electricity, candles would count. There's something about them that fluorescent lights just can't emulate.

Human invention: Does 'language' count? I can only imagine how different my life would be without some form of communication.

Place to be kissed: Somewhere private, just for the two of us...

Pizza toppings: You can never have a pizza without the basics in mind - the cheese and the sauce. Everything from there is basically complementary.

Person who makes me laugh: It's easy enough to find almost anyone funny for me, to be honest. I can't really choose.

Time of day to wake up: I'm not exactly a morning person...perhaps then the best answer would be 'as late as I like'.

Snack: Can't go wrong with grapes. But blueberries come in at a close second.

Spot to think alone: Perhaps just before falling asleep.

Person/Place I'd visit if time allowed: Maybe Anthony Robbins - his motivational speeches would probably do a lot of good for me.

Book: I suppose the Hitchhiker series were quite enjoyable, but to be honest, I like a lot of the books I read - they just happened to come to mind.

Time playing as a child: Walking around on my own was nice. When people didn't notice that sort of thing...

Body part: Perhaps my eyes. It'd be impossible to read or respond to people like this if I didn't have them (of course, it'd also be impossible without a brain, but you get my drift).

External observation/question: It's a little egotistical, but "you're too nice" is something I need to try and rectify (at least, just a little bit).

Weather: Probably cool, cloudy weather. Not to the extent of rain of course, but enough to obscure the sun a little.

Memory w/ family member: A bit hard to remember, but I suppose my conversations with my sibling is always enjoyable.

Applied school education knowledge: Treat others the way you'd like to be treated + a smile goes a long way.

Question I still seek an answer to: What drives me?

Quality I take some pride in: My ability to communicate with others well.

Way to blow off steam: With a fan and persistence. More seriously, if I had the privacy, I wouldn't mind just yelling out really loudly. That's not always possible unfortunately...

Smell: Vanilla, most likely.

Exclamation when mad: It's less of an exclamation, and more of a change in demeanour. I can get a little dismissive and cold when that happens. And as I said before, if nobody was around, I'd be happy to let loose some incoherent bellow.

Lie I tell myself/tell others: That I'm doing perfectly fine. While it's usually true, there are times when it isn't.

Wonder found in nature: Apart from us humans, right? Coral reefs are certainly rather amazing.

Tradition I have: Daily cold showers. Though it might be considered more a habit now that I think about it...

Article of clothing/possession: I can't say I'm attached to the clothes I wear. But it's true I don't really make a conscious effort to change them. A pair of jeans and a shirt is all I really need.

I can't adequately express how much I adored those first two answers. Pause! Simply brilliant.

I too have felt the urge to 'bellow incoherently' but was left wondering where it would be possible to carry it out?

Thank you so much for your answers.

Unfortunately, I can't think of many places...being sufficiently alone is difficult. Unless one is too stressed to care.

Quite true.

I admire the unabashed exuberance of babies and small children in expressing their emotion-of-the-moment without a whit of care for the reactions of those around them.

I am interested in the process of when exactly that fades into social responsibility and awareness (though of course, some personalities are not loathe to bellow publicly and even delight in doing so).

It's a product of a society which values the control of one's emotions I suppose. The reigning in of one's impulses, temperance, and so on. There are merits to both ways of reacting, but really, only one appears to be acceptable.

Tell me your favourite:

-superhero power: Probably like... healing powers? Or invisibility.

-technology that's now obsolete: Oh god... you're asking the wrong person. I just don't care about tech stuff much.

-human invention: I guess the obvious answer is antibiotics. But that's lame, so let's say lenses of all sorts - telescopes, microscopes, cameras, eyeglasses, etc. They literally allow us to see our world and beyond in completely new ways.

-place to be kissed: I'm guessing you don't mean geographically. My official answer is everywhere. Don't hold back with that shit. Explore a woman's body with your lips and tongue.

-pizza toppings: Ooooh pizza! Anything except anchovies. No. Why would you ruin pizza with fish??? Also not fond of pineapple, but I can deal.

-person who makes you laugh: Louis C.K.

-time of the day to wake up: When I fucking want to, as in no alarm clocks. And why is it that everyday I am allowed to sleep in I wake up obnoxiously early and just lie there with my stupid thoughts?

-snack: How does one pick a favorite snack?? If there is food in front of me, I'm going to eat it.

-spot to think alone: Haha, I do this everywhere no matter who is around me anyway. But my home and my car are where I spend the most alone time.

-person or place you'd visit if given time off & a free trip: Hmmm... overseas somewhere. I don't speak any foreign languages, so that limits me a bit. New Zealand would be awesome, the UK could be cool too.

-book: I am embarrassed to admit that I haven't read many books. I am an Internet whore though, always researching whatever I'm interested in or reading articles/blogs.

-time playing, as a child: I have virtually no childhood memories. Sad fact. Memory problems plague me to this day. It is actually pretty extreme.

-body part: Like, on my body? Or other people's bodies? Um, I guess I have sorta nice abs. I am actually really not good at complimenting myself and I don't often see what others see in me. On a man, it depends on the guy. If I really like a guy, chances are I'm going to be attracted to everything about him. That's just the way I am.

-question/observation about yourself - from someone else: Everyone says I'm super hard on myself. They're right.

-weather: Thunderstorms. All the way.

-memory with a family member: Again... virtually no memories. I'm not exaggerating.

-thing you learned in school that you actually use in 'real life': Um, grammar?

-question you still seek an answer to: Oh my god... What is my calling? And how do I get there with my limited resources? Because I'm dying inside everyday. (Sorry, that's just what I'm dealing with right now.)

-quality you take some pride in: I really, really, really care about people in pain. I am a huge advocate for mental health awareness and also issues men in particular face in suppressing their emotions.

-way to blow off steam: Lol... 2 things come to mind; listening to really loud music to match my mood, or... orgasms. Alone or with a friend. Whichever. :newwink:

-smell: I am single, but what is better than the smell of your man? Nothing.

-exclamation when you are mad: I have so many. They usually involve the word "fuck."

-lie you tell yourself or others: Well, I blame myself for everything. Logically, that can't be true.

-wonder found in nature: Bioluminescence.

-tradition you have: I don't have traditions. I only do Christmas cuz I have kids, lol.

-article of clothing or possession: I really like my slowly growing collection of chunky boots (I don't wear heels) and my art/decorative pieces, a couple of which I painted (not that they're anything special technically speaking, but they represent a certain point in my life).

I'll try it
Superhero Power : so this one is hard, I've been into fantasy, comics and mangas for pretty much my whole life and still can't land on one choice....I really really really liked Ueki's power in Law of Ueki (turning trash into trees, while there is an ecosensitive reason for that...I also just like the idea of turning an inanimate object thrown away into a 'living' creature), but I also really like Kon-El/Conner Kent's TTK in DC's pre-Flashpoint Universe. I can also feel Korvinagor's answer to this question in my bones XD pausing the world is a pretty nice idea

technology that's now obsolete : I don't know how obsolete it is because I think it's going around again but record players (I only have LPs)

human invention : ...I'm not sure....I can't chose...Honestly I can't even narrow it down...I guess I'd say anything related to writing and drawing ? I don't know there are way too many things?

place to be kissed : none, I don't like being kissed

pizza toppings :
Every single cheese possible (which is now impossible since I'm allergic to milk T.T)

person who makes you laugh :As a professional ? Jeremy Ferrari. As a character ? Gintoki (Gintama), 90% of the main cast of Ace Attorney (+the Human Torch/Spider-Man combo), IRL : my ex-roommate.

time of the day to wake up :Early morning or none

snack : I used to devour Palets Bretons but because of my allergies I had to switch clementines (they're delicious but still)

spot to think alone : the shower or anywhere I can lie down and close my eyes.

person or place you'd visit if given time off & a free trip : Person : my "sis" in Greece. A Place : anywhere and everywhere. I wanna see it all.

book : Well Harry Potter is one of the book that's stayed in my heart the longest but I wouldn't say it's my favorite (I mostly love it for J.K Rowling's world building), At this point in my life the whole of Terry Pratchett's work can safely take place n°1 while Umberto Eco's novels take n°2

time playing, as a child : I honestly don't remember which I liked best...I was easily satisfied.

body part : I think my hair ? (I'd say my breasts and eyes but due to the hell they give me I can't put them here)

question/observation about yourself - from someone else : Dunno, usually they kinda ll contradict each other, I'm either too selfish or too self-sacrificing, I'm either too mellow on my opinions or too harsh, too self-righteous in my opinions or too "far" from them, ect...So i don't know.....

weather : neither too humid or dry, too hot or cold...I don't know the exact english term so I'm gonna say 'mild' and slightly warm.

memory with a family member : my mom's the only person I've ever felt comfortable hugging, I remember hugging her every night before going to bed.

thing you learned in school that you actually use in 'real life' : Basic Maths, History, Geography, mostly.

question you still seek an answer to : too many. Mostly why can't people just have a basic respect for others and form an opinion based on a stereotype and/or a physical trait (I mean if you want to despise someone, at least do it because of who they are not because of xenophobia)

quality you take some pride in : viewing the world in a fairly logical way...

way to blow off steam : exercising (I used to do much more, so it's not enough but it gets at least some steam off...I think the most I did was 8 hours of extracurricular sports classes...Probably twice as that if you count everything I did outside of the classes)

smell : Sweet but not too much, I kinda like fruity sent

exclamation when you are mad : it depends on the context but my main one would be "putain de merde" or just "putain" or just "merde" (merde being the french equivalent of "shit" and putain of "fuck"...in some regions putain can also be used as punctuation)

lie you tell yourself or others : I'll stop procrastinating.

wonder found in nature : That's...way too vague, again I can't choose

tradition you have :
Every year, either for Christmas or my birthday I buy myself a musical box (well most of the time they're not boxes but I don't know how to call them). I also try to play at least one Pokémon game per new generation.

article of clothing or possession : I'm not sure I'd say, my media library ? (all my books, CDs, DVDs, Video Games)

Body part :

It's been broken many a times but somehow it still works fine :)
and for others may be I notice their hands..well kept fingers..
Healthy strong fists...not sure though...

External observation/question :
People say, at first I look like a person with a lot of attitude..but the same people later say..I m just so sweet..lol..I am not being self-absorbed here..it is what it is.... I'm flattered though [emoji14]

Weather:
Cool and cloudy weather...I love rain....!! Hot coffee ,music, dance in rain....sleeping to the sound of rain..
I wish it rains everyday..especially at night..love those dark rainy nights....!

Memory w/ family member :
Definitely my Grandma..I miss her a lot...
everything about her.....

Applied school education knowledge:
That I should not waste the rest of my life in education !!! of course it has taught a lot of basic things of life but the education pattern..it makes us run behind success instead of excellence..
I am totally against it...

Question I still seek an answer to :
Will I be blessed by unconditional love from someone?!!

Quality I take some pride in :
My authenticity !

Way to blow off steam :
Drink a lot of water...Engage in a drawing...solve puzzles...watch a movie...try some recipe..analyze things...or lastly..just go to sleep....!!

Smell :
The earthy scent after rain falls.....

Exclamation when mad :
Go to my room..lights out...I might cry or just shut my eyes tightly and go to sleep...Sleep has always been my escape from reality and unknowingly hope that the situation might just turn out be a bad dream and nothing else....Sleep always works for me! and people are spared too! [emoji14] it's a win-win situation...

Lie I tell myself/tell others :
I am not scared of ghosts!!!

Wonder found in nature :
Nature is full of surprises but since childhood I have always wondered...
How are these huge masses..heavenly bodies..floating/hanging/ in the universe !!!
Apart from that just a flower is so wonderful...it's a masterpiece..one can never feel sad looking at a flower!
I never pluck a flower as truly I love them...I cannot destroy someone or something I love! Plucking them means an assassination to me !!

Tradition I have :
Exercise everyday !

Article of clothing/possession :
Blanket stitched by my grandma!

...keep it simple.

Superpower: I wish I could go back in time and change some things. A lot of things, really, and then maybe things would be different today. I don't know. But I often wish to do that.

Obsolete technology: Landlines aren't really obsolete, but they are rare these days, I'd say. But they're still useful because a cellphone tower isn't the same thing as a landline. Say you're hurt at home and need to call 911, they can gauge where you live better from a landline as opposed to a cell tower.

Human invention: Cellphones and music players. You can carry your music with you wherever and you can communicate with whomever, whenever.

Place to be kissed: Never been kissed.

Pizza toppings: I like cheese and pepperoni, but it depends to what mood I'm in. Peppers are fine too.

Person who makes me laugh: I laugh easily, so, lots of people do.

Time of day to wake up: Early morning because I feel better when I wake up early. But it takes awhile for me to start the day, I'm not really a morning person.

Snack: Yogurt.

Spot to think alone: Bedroom.

Person/Place I'd visit if time allowed: The Old Hollywood era.

Book: Hmm. No real favorite.

Time playing as a child: The innocence and care-free time of being a child.

Body part: My eyes aren't bad.

External observation/question: I can't think of one at the moment.

Weather: I like summer, but I also don't mind winter.

Memory w/ family member: No favorite memories.

Applied school education knowledge: Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Question I still seek an answer to: What drives me?

Quality I take some pride in: My kindness, as annoying as it is.

Way to blow off steam: Working out or stretching, sometimes.

Smell: Vanilla or something more floral.

Exclamation when mad: I tend to swear or sometimes slam things.

Lie I tell myself/tell others:
I know what I want to do with my life and that I'm going to get there.

Wonder found in nature: The silence.

Tradition I have: I take a lot of vitamins these days.

Article of clothing/possession: I really like my sweaters and I'm very dependent on my phone.

-place to be kissed
Neck, left side

-pizza toppings

-person or place you'd visit if given time off & a free trip
Friend in a little Greek island

-book
Waiting for Godot

-time playing, as a child
I used to sit for hours playing with couple plastic soldiers and few cars, making everyday life movies in my imagination (Sammy still hasn't made it home after stealing his dad's old classic Buick. I think he finally made it across the borders. GL Sam!)

-body part
My right hand thumb. It has a slightly funny off angle.

-question/observation about yourself - from someone else
Short tempered.

-weather
Spring's clear blue sky with the occasional extra fluffy white clouds, citruc-scented cool breeze. And Autumn's evening's rain on the roof of a classic car (they used to make them out of steel, rain would sound sharp and confident) been a while :/

-memory with a family member
I was 9 and my (only) brother was in senior high school. He was supposed to be studying hard, but snuck in the room and sat on the bed next to his studying table. He was listening to Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine. He looked at me for a second and asked "do you know who's this?". Said "nop". He raised the volume and we listened together for couple minutes before he threw an eraser at me. It was all fair in war and music! Pillows, books, clothes, audio cassettes flying across the room. Dad walked in and i got grounded for "disturbing the peace of my hard working bro". Dad didn't know my brother would leave the house the following year and never come back, yet.

-thing you learned in school that you actually use in 'real life'
If college you mean, I'd say "likelihood to talk to myself 90% of the time in English though it's not my native. My American history teacher suggested i try it back in 1st year, and i still talk to myself in English o_O good advice tho.
