DreamBeliever - Can't you just give it a rest already? How many threads have you made on this? I swear, it must be something like 10. Jesus Christ.

I know! I just don't wanna be a resident flip-flopper. :D

Well you kind of are right now.. I saw you flip flop like today or yesterday.

I know... I'm trying to stop now.

(I can't say I've stopped for sure because whenever I say that I change my type like the next day)

Ultimately, it's up to you. Input is great, but it can't define you. Nobody can define you. Hell, even type theory can't define you! People can't relate to a hundred percent of any type. It's because we're complex. You know, you're probably having trouble partly because you're a human being who can't squeeze herself (you are a female, right?) into four letters. Remember, you've lived with yourself your whole life. We haven't.

So, I would suggest taking a step back, getting to know type theory better, getting to know yourself better, and living happily. :)

Si isn't about structure. Thinking, and, to an extent, Rationality, is tied to structure.

Je is about basing one's conscious decisions on outside standards, Ji based on standards within. Ti is arguably the most rigid, while Te aligns with some stereotypes of this "conformism." By extension of Ti, Fe can have a focus on "order" by backing implicit logical parameters (rather than Te explicit) with "ethical," non-logic-based group consensus, though I suppose this element of consensus would strengthen the individual's autonomy within the grouo in terms of Fe.

If you wish to find the types most strongly associated with "order," I would point you to the Beta Quadra, the STPs and NFJs.

Evee you don't even know how happy I am to see tentacle face. Like this can only be described as: "There was a disturbance in the force... that has now been corrected."

Edit: Okay. That was short lived.

I'm in no way suggesting that all 9s are alike or share the same "presentation" and/or experience... And yet this thread is classic e9 to me (and so of course it was awesome to also see you here providing supportive commentary - hence the "9s discussing 9 stuff.") And I've seen some version of this same op message from every entranced, undecided/untyped 9 I can recall encountering on this board - Stansmith, Elfboy, LadyLazurus, greenfairy, etc., etc.

9s have an interesting dichotomy to me in that I experience them as being very distinct, whole, solid, unchanging people/identities...and yet due to the universal, merging energy...due to being disconnected from the gut/base instinct...entranced 9s do not experience themselves in this same way. Whether they are conscious of it or not...they fear they lack an identity (and subsequently boundaries against "bad merges.")

Entranced 9s attempting to type themselves = not all that fun (especially for entranced 7s) because innocent and super clever people like myself can unknowingly walk headlong into a lose-lose scenario. Quite often a 9 will start off with an enthusiastic "Type Me!" (indentify me!)...only to have subsequent contributions immediately protested/shot-down... "Why are you trying to act like you know me when you clearly don't?!" <-And for the finale it's not uncommon for 9s to criticize people for doing precisely what they asked them to do...as well as the process. Just like you guys were doing haha (remember I'm serious and lighthearted here.) I have always said entranced or stressed 9s will tell you who they are.

Basically, 9s merge. They merge with individuals, groups, places, things, professions, moments in time, roles, hobbies...ninjas, super heros, villains, Zen rock gardens, anime & star wars characters, gas powered motors... personality traits.

Think about Chanaynay ...an e7 with no connection to 9. 7s distract themselves from the shitty things in life and remain hopeful/positive by exploring possibilities. As long as the suggestion wasn't hurtful or offensive he would be happy to consider any type or trait someone threw at him for the fun and interest and exploration of it. Typology...99% non-threatening to 7s.

This is not always the case for 9s. If a 9 has fortified their boundaries by having merged with a trait or habit...an understanding of themselves...simple suggestions to the contrary can become threatening rather quickly. If a 9 has merged with an understanding of themselves that holds they are carefree... and someone claims they actually seem quite rountine...<-to some 9s something that benign can feel a bit threatening. And on typology websites...these kinds of threads get started.

I would like to merge with a Zen rock garden. TELL ME YOUR SECRETS, WITCH.

OP, I'm really sorry for derailing your thread but I'm shit at typing people so I don't know what to say, except that you resolve your dilemma to your satisfaction and benefit. :)

I switched it before I saw your post!

I feel like I can't switch it back now.

Man, don't get so uptight about it. 10 is exaggerating. Why does it matter to you?

Chanaynay I'm trying to do too many things right now and I want to come back to this...but it makes a lot of sense to me why you and others see and say SFJ. e1 is a strong, fixed, predominantly ISJ point blah, blah, blah...

I love your flip-flopping.

And your "oops, I just made this thread about me..." reminded me of my favorite Spongebob episode "dying for pie"...and this 12 second clip that will make no sense to you.

It's better than that "INFPtheQuietOne" five-year-old who kept shitting out those weak, weightless, obvious attention-whoring threads that one night.

What's that supposed to mean? If you got something to say, spit it out. Why bother replying if you have nothing worth while to contribute? I was merely asking for people to further explain the type they assigned for me before I adopt it. What's wrong with analyzing the information people give me? Some people here need to just move along.

Ah.

I was thinking about how great that night was.

Synthetic judgments, how lovely.

For the record I'm cool with you being sfj.

Just chill. I'm not looking for an argument. I need to turn in for the night, anyway, so I'm taking my ass to sleep. Have fun making snide remarks elsewhere. I ain't about that.
