Heck, it's gotten up to around 80 almost every day here for the last week.![]()
LOL. That is so disturbing, Gromit, but hilarious at the same time.
My solution is sheep socks I got in Iceland.THEYARESOGLORIOUSLYWARMAMGS.
Where do you live???
It's actually super warm right now. Delightful. No need for long johns today!
I have several pair of wool socks. Amazing right? Anyway what were you doing in Iceland? I have some friends who went there on their honeymoon and I saw the pictures and really want to go now.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacramento_Valley This is the time of year it should be getting cold and rainy, but it's actually warming up again.Where do you live???
That is so cool. Someday I will go there! Although I have a couple other trips line up first, to visit people who have moved away. Have you been on a whale watch before?yes!! They are sooo cute!! and soft!! AND FLUFFY!!! *dies*
I was there on vacation. I went hiking and explored the western side for a few days. I'd love to go back sometime... I really want to go to the northern side in the summertime. There is a place where you are pretty much guaranteed to see whales everytime you go out.
I'd probably pass out and then fall over the side in my excitement.
P.S. Reykjavik is boring.![]()
How cold does it get where you are? I think actually a motorcycle would feel colder than a bicycle, because on the bicycle your body is at least burning some calories which contribute warmth. These are what I wear on my motorcycle mid-winterThey work.
Mine are a tad more modern though, lol.
What is cold, like 58?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacramento_Valley This is the time of year it should be getting cold and rainy, but it's actually warming up again.

Yeah, that way they won't melt and stick to you like polyester does if you're exposed to fire (random irrelevant knowledge).I like that they are a natural fabric.
That's actually about what the lows have been lately, and the highs in the 80-90 range, which is a bit warmer than usual. In the winter it usually gets down to the 30s and sometimes the 20s.What is cold, like 58?![]()
Those thin thermals that you posted Gromit, they're amazing. The army issued things just like that to us, and most of the time I didn't even need a jacket when it wasn't snowing, just those things and a beanie and I was set.
What is the material?
